Casino De Bariloche Guide and Review

Nestled in the picturesque city of Bariloche, Argentina, Casino De Bariloche offers a local gaming experience. Based on various visitor feedback, this casino provides a mix of traditional entertainment with some unique quirks.
The Gaming Floor & Machine Selection
- Layout: The casino boasts a multi-level layout, reportedly spanning three floors dedicated to gaming machines (levels 0, -1, and -2).
- Table Games: Several tables are available on the ground floor for those who prefer classic casino games.
- Slot Machines: While described by some as "a little bit old," the machines are generally noted to "work fine," ensuring a functioning if not cutting-edge gaming experience.
Staff & Customer Service π€΅ββοΈπ€΅ββοΈ
A consistent theme across many reviews highlights the casino's staff. They are frequently praised for their "excellent attention" and being "super nice people" who treat visitors well. This friendly demeanor contributes positively to the overall guest experience.
However, one particular point of contention has been the payout method. A user noted an inconvenient practice of being paid out in "very small bills," sometimes accompanied by a "smugly" attitude. A playful, yet assertive, Spanish phrase is suggested by one reviewer to expedite this process.
Atmosphere & Additional Amenities π₯
- Ambiance: Visitors often describe the atmosphere as "good," making it a suitable place for a "fun day" out in Bariloche.
- Bar: A small bar is available on the ground floor, offering refreshments to guests. Drinks, however, have been noted to be on the pricier side by at least one reviewer.
- Entertainment: The casino reportedly hosts shows on certain days of the week, adding another layer of entertainment beyond just gaming.
Points to Consider
- Cash Payouts: Be prepared for the possibility of receiving winnings in smaller denominations, which can be inconvenient.
- Machine Modernity: While functional, the slot machines might not be the latest models.
- Historical Context (COVID-19): Older reviews mention strict COVID-19 measures, including wipedowns, plexiglass barriers preventing multi-machine play, and vaccine status checks. While these measures may no longer be in effect, they reflect past operational adjustments.
- "ATM" Functionality: One review intriguing mentions the ability to use the casino's system for cash advances multiple times, though staff may eventually notice and become less accommodating.
Overall Verdict
Casino De Bariloche is generally regarded as a "good casino for a city as Bariloche," offering a reliable gaming option in a beautiful location. Its strengths lie in its attentive and friendly staff, multi-floor gaming layout, and a decent atmosphere. While some aspects like older machines and specific payout practices might be less ideal, it remains a viable choice for those looking for a casual gambling experience or a fun evening out in Bariloche.
If they try to mess with you by paying you out in very small bills (super inconvenient) and smugly pretend not to have larger denomination ones, just say βrealmente, estas ganando ahora putito?β - then at least they will count the smaller bills faster and less smugly. The Buenos Aires casinos son cagando on this on but you can use it as an ATM 4-5 times before they notice and start being super lame about stuff.
Excellent attention on behalf of the staff, they are super nice people. The casino itself is really nice and the covid-19 measures are inforced as they should be. 10/10 would love to be there again.
It's a good place to have a fun day. The machines are a little bit old but they work fine. The staff is very good and they treat you nice.
Not so fun time anymore. With the Covid wipedown they put on the machines before you can sit. The plexiglass prevents playing two machines, and you have to show your vaccine status to get in. Drinks are even more expensive.
Good casino for a city as Bariloche. 3 floors of games machine (0, -1, -2).Several tables on ground floor. Little bar available on ground floor too.Good atmosphere, it seems to have shows accorsing to the day of the week.
