ADMIRAL Sportsbar Guide and Review

Located in Linz, Austria, the ADMIRAL Sportsbar is primarily identified by its visitors as a casino, despite its name suggesting a sports bar. While the name might imply a relaxed venue for watching games, user feedback overwhelmingly points to it functioning more as a gaming establishment.
Overview & What to Expect
For those visiting ADMIRAL Sportsbar, the main attraction is undoubtedly the gaming machines. Reviewers confirm that it operates essentially as a casino, making it a destination for individuals looking to engage in various forms of electronic gambling. The environment is focused on slot machines and potentially other gaming options.
Customer Experience & Service π£οΈ
Customer experiences at ADMIRAL Sportsbar appear to be quite polarized, ranging from satisfactory to highly critical.
Positive Aspects
- Some visitors have reported a generally good location and capable employees.
- One reviewer noted that for those who understand the nature of gambling, the experience can be positive, emphasizing that winning or losing is part of the game.
Areas for Improvement
Several significant concerns have been raised by visitors, particularly regarding staff conduct and bonus policies:
- Unfriendly and Impatient Staff: A recent review described the staff as "absolutely unfriendly and impatient." This suggests a challenging atmosphere for visitors seeking a relaxed experience.
- Pressure to Play: There are strong sentiments that the establishment primarily wants patrons who are actively spending money. One distressing incident involved a visitor being asked to leave the gaming area because they had run out of credit and were merely watching a colleague play. This created a perception of being "forced" to continue playing.
- Bonus Policy Concerns: Some long-time patrons of the Admiral brand expressed disappointment with the lack of bonuses at this specific location, even after significant amounts of money had been spent. This contrasts with their experiences at other Admiral venues where bonuses were reportedly more common.
- Fairness of Games: One reviewer, after losing money, voiced suspicion about the fairness of the games, suggesting "fishy stuff" might be occurring, although this is a subjective claim related to the nature of gambling itself.
Summary & Recommendation
The ADMIRAL Sportsbar in Linz is fundamentally a casino, offering a gaming environment for those interested in electronic slot machines and similar activities. While some find the location and certain aspects of the staff acceptable, recurring themes in critical reviews highlight significant issues with customer service, staff demeanor, and the perceived pressure to gamble continually. Potential visitors should be aware of these reported challenges before deciding to spend their time or money here, especially if seeking a laid-back sportsbar experience or expecting generous bonus incentives common in other gaming establishments.
Stolen my money....there is fishy stuff going on over there? I give it away it's ok I lost , I lost . But look.....I been to many other places also under admiral and they be giving bonuses after a few hundred euros. But at this place never, not even after a thousand euros!!!! Would not be surprised if someone tries to contact to share more information. I'm looking into this @sasabuzancic
Disastrous branch.I usually go to the Admiral to wind down and relax a bit at the machine. Really impossible in this branch. Not only are the employees absolutely unfriendly and impatient, they also make absolutely no secret of the fact that they only want you in the restaurant if you actively spend your money. For example, last week I was playing with a colleague and I had already used up my credit. I then wanted to watch my colleague until he had finished playing when the employee suddenly came in and said I was only allowed to sit in the slot machine room if I was playing myself and that I should please wait outside if I wasn't playing. It's just cheeky how no attention is paid to the comfort of the visitor and they are basically "forced" to throw money into the machine.
Good location and employees. I don't understand some of the comments where it says I lost, something is wrong, it's gambling. In my opinion, at a late hour when the alcohol level rises it is difficult to bet if you play with larger stakes, but otherwise it's great.
