We stayed in a Premium room, which was spacious and very comfortable. The food was perfectly fine.Unfortunately, the front desk staff fell short. Taxis we booked well in advance were only ordered once we physically arrived at reception. There was also a double charge for parking - acknowledged by staff but never resolved, despite several follow-ups.When we arrived by car, the bellboy simply directed us to the underground garage without offering help with our luggage. For a hotel of this level, I would expect at least basic valet service.
Truly beautiful and huge rooms! The bathroom is huge, very clean and has all the extra amenities needed. The bed is also huge and very good. Will be tough leaving this place. Our stay at this hotel was underwhelming due to poor service. Upon arrival, the luggage staff just stared instead of offering help. The concierge was equally unhelpful - when asked for a restaurant recommendation, he had no answers and only reluctantly called after persistent requests. When the restaurant did not pick up, his only advice was to wander the city centre and "find something" ourselves - completely useless. I don't mind doing this but isn't the idea of a concierge to help his guest having a good time? Even more surprising, despite staying for two nights, we were unable to secure a reservation at any of the hotel’s restaurants - something I would not expect as a guest…The biggest letdown was the spa. Despite being heavily advertised, it turned out to cost an extra €25 per person, something I have never encountered before.
