Located conveniently in Sofia, Bulgaria, Viva! Casino offers a gaming experience that garners a mix of positive feedback regarding its atmosphere and offerings, alongside some points for improvement, particularly concerning drink service.
The casino boasts a good variety of slot machines, which several visitors have enjoyed. For those who prefer table games, Viva! Casino provides options such as Roulette, Blackjack, and Russian Poker. Table games are typically available from 10 AM to 4 AM.
Minimum bets for table games are generally accessible: Roulette starts from 5 BGN, while Blackjack and Russian Poker begin at 10 BGN, with Blackjack limits extending up to 300 BGN. While some visitors appreciate the presence of various table games, it's noted that usually only one Roulette table is open at a time.
The staff at Viva! Casino frequently receives praise for being friendly and in a good mood, contributing to a positive atmosphere for many guests. Beverage service is generally described as good, with drinks arriving quickly. A notable perk is that drinks are offered for free, and for those who play for extended periods, the casino may even comp dinner or lunch.
However, an important point raised by a past visitor highlights potential issues with the complimentary drink policy. While drinks are free, there appears to be an undisclosed consumption limit, which can lead to frustrating experiences if not clearly communicated. This aspect has been a source of customer service concern, indicating a need for greater transparency.
Beyond gaming, the casino also offers food, described as good and reasonably priced. This adds value for guests, especially those who stay for longer gaming sessions and might be eligible for comped meals. Additionally, the casino is noted for having a very fair exchange rate, which is a convenient service for international visitors.
Viva! Casino Sofia is described as a small but nice casino. Its size means it might not always be bustling, with some visitors noting quiet periods, particularly during Sunday afternoons. While some prefer a more lively environment, others appreciate the more relaxed atmosphere during less busy times. The casino's location is a significant advantage, situated just outside of Serdika metro station, making it easily accessible for both locals and tourists.
While many aspects of Viva! Casino are well-received, the primary area for improvement revolves around the clarity and execution of its complimentary beverage policy. Better communication regarding drink limits, if any, could prevent customer dissatisfaction and enhance the overall service experience. For those seeking a larger, more vibrant casino atmosphere, the smaller scale of Viva! Casino might be a factor to consider.
Overall, Viva! Casino Sofia offers a pleasant and accessible gaming experience, characterized by friendly staff, a good selection of slots and table games, and convenient amenities like food and currency exchange. Despite its smaller size and some past issues with drink service clarity, many visitors have had enjoyable experiences and found it to be a worthwhile stop for entertainment in Sofia.
We made a visit to the casino and loved the experience. Most of the staff were friendly and had a great variety of slot machines.
Terrible customer service. Had to chase after waitresses to get a drink. Drinks are free but apparently they count what you consume. I was cutoff and told there was a limit on drinks per customer. I cashed out and asked to speak to a manager. She was nice and explained why I (and customers in general) are limited, then reversed the โpolicyโ but she refused to tell me what exactly the โdrink limitโ rule is. Not good customer service.
We went here on a Sunday afternoon and were the only ones in the casino outside of a couple playing roulette and one patron at the slots. While i prefer playing blackjack with others at the table, the perks of being the only one were nice as well. Drink arrived quickly. The staff was quite friendly and in a good mood which was contagious.Overall it is a small casino (need to get vegas out of my head), had a nice time and will defenetelly come back when it's more busy.
