Situated in the vibrant city of Sunny Beach, Bulgaria, the Europe Hotel & Casino presents a holiday destination that garners diverse opinions from its guests. Primarily known for its casino, the establishment offers a range of experiences from its prime beachfront location to its various amenities.
One of the most consistently praised aspects of Europe Hotel & Casino is its unbeatable location. Guests frequently highlight its direct proximity to the beach, making it an ideal spot for seaside vacations. Despite being situated at a busy crossroads, the hotel itself is surprisingly quiet, offering a peaceful retreat from the bustling resort town. Many rooms also boast a great balcony view, often overlooking the sea.
The hotel generally receives positive remarks for its accommodations. Rooms are described as beautiful, often with a sea view, and the hotel facilities are frequently noted as brand new, fully renovated, and consistently clean. Guests appreciate the overall immaculate appearance of the premises. However, some minor inconveniences have been reported, such as an initial need for multiple requests to change dirty sheets upon arrival and the absence of complimentary drinking water in the rooms.
As a primary type of this establishment, the casino receives positive attention. Guests describe the casino as an exciting experience, with its interior appearing immaculate from the moment of entry. For those new to casinos, it offers an engaging introduction, with at least one guest having a successful, albeit small, win.
The food and dining experience at Europe Hotel & Casino is arguably the most polarizing aspect, with starkly contrasting reviews:
Breakfast, in particular, draws mixed feedback, being described as both "very good" and "limited and poorly cooked." This significant discrepancy suggests either a high inconsistency in food quality over time or vastly different guest expectations and experiences.
The hotel staff generally earns high praise for their professionalism and friendliness. Many guests commend the staff, especially at the reception and bar, for being "very nice and wonderful," and "well organised and code-dressed." They are noted for their polite demeanor regardless of the heat. However, there are instances where service has been described as "critical," with reports of delays in fulfilling requests for minibar water and an absent security guard at the parking area, leading to waits.
Feedback on the swimming pools is also divided. Some guests found the pool "bad and very ordinary." Yet, others highlight a "vast, deserted swimming pool" that is "very good for swimming," with ample chaise-longs readily available. The hotel is noted for not being overcrowded, even in August, which contributes to a relaxed atmosphere around the pool areas. However, for those seeking vibrant nightlife, the absence of parties or events at night was noted as making the hotel feel "very boring" for families.
While some perceive Europe Hotel & Casino to be "a bit more pricy" compared to nearby hotels, many feel it "worths well the money", especially considering its recent renovations, prime location, and professional staff. The blend of a clean, well-located property with an exciting casino experience makes it an appealing choice. However, prospective visitors should manage expectations regarding the dining options, as this appears to be the most variable aspect of the guest experience.
We visited the hotel with the family. The food is unknown whether it is halal/kosher or not. The food is very bad and has not changed during the whole week. Almost the same food and drinks in the dining hall (not in the bar) are of poor quality. The breakfast is very good. The snack between meals is very poor. Every day the same meal does not change at all. Although we have been to other three-star hotels, there are various meals, but this hotel does not have one. The pool is bad and very ordinary. The room is beautiful with a sea view. There is no drinking water in the room. There are no parties or events at night like the rest of the hotels. The hotel staff is very nice and wonderful, especially at the reception and the bar. The hotel was good, but the food is very bad. The hotel is very boring. For familyI repeat the staff is very nice and very professional and the room is very clean and the hotel is very clean
Im not a typical Google reviewer, but hotel Europe Casino deserves some good words and my compliments. Brand new (fully renovated) and always clean facilities, professional service and very friendly staff at the best location- just beside the beach. The staff is well organised and code-dressed and respects with neat suits, shirts and ties, regardless of the heat and summer. The restaurant offers (AI) well selected and healthy food including salats, soups, diabetes-friendly, kosher etc food, also full variety of quality drinks. The location is on a crossroad and is quite busy and crowded, but the hotel itself is surprisingly quiet. No rushes or lines in the restaurant, the elevators were always available as a well as the chaise-longs on the pool*. The hotel also features a vast, deserted swimming pool, free and secured parking, great balcony view…Compared with nearby hotels it is a bit more pricy, but it worths well the money…Thank you for good vacation Hotel Europe and looking forward to visiting you again.* P.S. this eden lasted until one day a bus with romanian tourists poured into the hotel. May sounds harsh, but they were like an unleashed katun…
The nicest thing is that the hotel is next to the beach. The service of the hotel is critical. On the first day had to ask 3 times to change the sheets since they were dirty. On the second day I was out of water in the minibar and asked 2 times to add some. At the evening there where no water and asked again, but they told me that "it was too late to do that", so I had to purchase some from the lobby bar. The next morning asked for water again and when I got back at the hotel at 5pm, there were still no water, so I had to ask again. The food is bad. The breakfast is limited and poorly cooked. The eggs were looking like they were 2 days old. There were no fruits. The security guard at the parking was never there and had to wait 10-15 minutes everyday for someone to show up and lift the barrier. There's phone left for the security (looks like it's practice to do not be on his work place) but I was calling 10 times before anyone show up.Overall, I wouldnt pick this hotel for vacation as it will definitely ruin your experience.
First ever visit to a casino. Was very exciting. Won a small amount so very happy. From the moment you enter the front door. Everything looks immaculate
Good breakfast with moderately good coffee and juice.Very good pool for swimming.Nice location. The rooms were also clean. And the best part is that it is not overcrowded at all in August.I'd visit again.
