What a fun experience. I was back visiting family in Winnipeg so we went for dinner & play time. The battered pickerel fish & chips was amazing. Played some games with my SIL while the guys played blackjack. The decor is quite elaborate — like a Vegas casino & the attached multi level parking is free. I go to this Casino with my parents whenever I am in town. They like going there so sharing their interest is fun and time flies.Be sure to get a club card as you get points and could apply them to items in gift shop and restaurant. I have eaten at the bar a few times and they do not disappoint. What’s good? For our first time visiting here, we decided to ring in the new year and have some fun. The atmosphere was exciting - great music, lots of smiling and laughing people, decorations, party favors were handed out, and there were a couple of new year photo opt booth set-ups available. The entire place was decorated, and a live DJ on stage who did the countdown. The staff were all friendly, professional, and very respectful. There are plenty of services available - restaurant areas, bar areas, a McDonald's, gift shop, coat check, ATMs, washrooms, etc. There was plenty of parking; however, be prepared to walk a wee bit, so dress accordingly. As for the games, my goodness - lots of machines all over the place, BINGO area, tables area, etc. We will definitely plan on visiting again. An excellent first-time visit.
Had a ton of fun for my quick stop waiting for guests to land at the airport 15 minutes away. They had slots, electronic roulette and other table games plus a McDonald's for a meal. The electronic roulette went down to a quarter! Parking was to the north and east and a quick walk.
How can a government run casino have no poker room? Casino run by the government with the reason to provide fun and safe gaming for all. Good job on doing that for the past 5 years.
