Located in the picturesque city of Pucón, Chile, Casino Enjoy Pucón serves as a hub for entertainment, though visitor experiences are notably varied. As part of the larger "Enjoy" complex, it offers gaming opportunities, but also presents some unique characteristics for patrons.
The casino is generally described as clean, though many users note it's not particularly large or "wide enough to be a touristic casino." For a smaller city like Pucón, some found it "fun enough," especially those who had positive outcomes at the tables.
One of the most frequently mentioned points, and a significant deterrent for some, is the mandatory entry fee. Visitors reported paying between 4,500 and 4,700 Chilean pesos just to enter the casino floor. This is often viewed negatively, as casinos typically aim to draw in patrons without an upfront charge, expecting to recover costs through gaming.
Adding to the confusion, some visitors were told that signing up for an "Enjoy Card" could reduce the entry fee to 1,000 pesos. However, this information was sometimes relayed only after the full fee had been paid, leading to frustration over a "screwy setup." It's advisable to inquire about the "Enjoy Card" and its benefits at the entrance before paying for admission.
While one user reported significant winnings, noting they were able to "triple the money" spent or turn 1,000 CLP into 60,000 CLP, the gaming experience isn't universally praised. A notable complaint targets the roulette tables. One reviewer specifically mentioned the presence of both a '0' and a '00', which is characteristic of American roulette and increases the house edge. Furthermore, the casino allegedly sets high minimum amounts for strategic bets (like colors or pairs), effectively pushing players towards riskier wagers.
For international visitors, it's worth noting that Brazilian IDs are accepted for entry, which can be convenient for tourists from neighboring countries.
Beyond the gaming floor, the casino's offerings receive mixed reviews. There are mentions of "buenos shows" (good shows), suggesting some live entertainment. However, the food available was described as "bad & overpriced." The atmosphere can also be variable, with one reviewer noting the presence of "drunks to the left of me, drunks to my right."
Another important financial detail to be aware of are the high fees for cash withdrawals, reported at 8,000 Chilean pesos. This could make it expensive for patrons needing to access more funds while gaming.
While this review focuses on the casino, it is part of the broader Enjoy brand. The casino itself is not located directly on the main hotel property. If you're driving, be aware that the parking lot is approximately two blocks away from the casino, which could be an inconvenience.
Casino Enjoy Pucón offers a gaming experience in a smaller, clean setting. While the staff is noted as kind and significant wins are possible, potential visitors should be prepared for an entry fee, investigate the "Enjoy Card" benefits upfront, and be aware of potentially challenging roulette rules and high withdrawal fees. The food and general atmosphere might not appeal to everyone. It caters more to those seeking a local gaming experience rather than a large, luxurious international casino resort.
Not that big of a place but fun enough for a small city like Pucón. I was able to triple the money I spent, my friend was able to make $60.000 with $1000 so it was worth it. Kind staff and you can get in with Brazilian ID.
4,700 pesos only to entry (it’s not like casino already takes your money, but you can’t even play this one). The roulette is over cheated. There is a 0 and a 00(never seen anywhere else), and minimum of amount on strategic bets (colors, pairs, ect) in order to push you make risky bets, the contrary of what roulette is suppose make you feel. It was not a good experience. It’s also expensive to play as a stranger as the fees to withdraw cash is 8000 pesos
The first red flag should’ve been that they charge you to enter the casino, like they aren’t just going to take all your money at the tables anyways. I paid 4,500 pesos…then was told you get a 1,000 pesos entry if you sign up for their Enjoy Card. So that’s annoying. Losing money at the casino is normal, but bad & overpriced food was new to me! Drunks to the left of me, drunks to my right, stuck in the middle with my bad food & ok beer. Even if my money had lasted longer than it did at the table games, I’d still be leaving a bad review because of the process of getting an Enjoy Card after paying to enter. My Spanish isn’t great, but that’s a screwy setup.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The staff was super helpful. We arrived early and while they could not check in right away, they gave us wristbands to use the amenities while we waited. Concierge was amazing - she booked our whitewater rafting trip and gave us hiking trail recommendations. The hotel was built in the 1930’s and can best be described as shabby-chic. Very beautiful grounds, just a bit old. Free kayaks before 1pm to use on the lake we’re a nice perk! Gym had a great selection of machines and free weights. You had to wear a swim cap to use the indoor pool which we found a bit odd, so we just used the outdoor one which was also heated (but still a bit on the cooler side). Rooms don’t have a/c bit temp drops at night so you’ll be fine. Parking lot is 2 blocks away next to the casino (which is not located on the property either). Great place!
