Casino Rock'n Jazz, located in Bogotá, Colombia, consistently receives overwhelmingly negative feedback from visitors. While the name might suggest a vibrant atmosphere, user experiences paint a starkly different picture, highlighting significant concerns regarding game fairness, staff professionalism, and overall integrity.
A primary complaint across multiple reviews centers on the perceived lack of fairness in the games. Patrons frequently describe the casino's offerings as "rigged", particularly the roulette tables. One user, experienced in casinos worldwide, explicitly states that they have "never seen more money loss on a roulette table than here," advising caution for those playing for fun.
Beyond roulette, the blackjack tables are noted for employing a "6-deck continuous shuffle", a practice that generally reduces player advantage compared to traditional shuffling methods.
The poker environment at Casino Rock'n Jazz also draws heavy criticism. Users report highly unprofessional conduct from dealers and a concerning atmosphere:
The casino's staff and dealers are frequently cited as "rude" and "unprofessional". Visitors from North America and Europe, in particular, may find the service below expected international standards.
A severe warning consistently raised by reviewers is the alleged attempt to "scam foreign people". Visitors are strongly advised to be careful, with one reviewer guaranteeing that patrons "will be cheated." This direct accusation of targeting international guests is a significant deterrent for tourists.
Based on user feedback, Casino Rock'n Jazz appears to cater primarily to "local Colombian 'businessmen'", rather than providing an inviting or fair experience for international travelers. This distinction is crucial for those visiting Bogotá seeking a recreational casino experience.
For travelers from North America and Europe seeking a more comfortable and potentially fairer gambling environment in Bogotá, user reviews suggest considering alternatives such as Luckia or Casino Rio.
Given the pervasive and severe negative feedback concerning rigged games, unprofessional staff, alleged scamming tactics targeting foreigners, and a problematic poker environment, Casino Rock'n Jazz comes with strong warnings. While the 'Rock'n Jazz' name might suggest entertainment, visitors should proceed with extreme caution, particularly if their intention is casual play or if they are international tourists.
I’ve played in all type of casinos and in various countries; Colombia in general is the worst i’ve seen. The roulette is definitely rigged and the blackjack is a 6 deck continuous shuffle. I’ve never seen more money loss on a roulette table than here. Beware if you’re just passing through for fun.
Most terrible place I have ever been, and they ALWAYS try to scam foreign people, so be CAREFUL!
The poker dealers have tried to rip me off multiple times. Very unprofessional. You have to always watch how they deal, what they call wins and losses. If your caught slipping they will take your money. I’ve been on several occasions. They also allow people to sit at tables and try to make money off people actually playing through side bets. Literally every night is the same group of people there. Not playing, just filling seats at tables and trying to make money off the others. almost feels as if they are employed by the casino. No other place I have been allows this. Much less to yell out what your cards are throwing Chips across tables slowing down game play.
Rude staff, unprofessional dealers by international standards. Travelers from North America and Europe will be more comfortable at Luckia or Casino Rio. This casino caters to local Colombian "businessmen". AVOIDMost of the reviews for this casino are obviously fake. Just social marketing pros at work. AVOID.
