Luckia Casino - biggest poker room in Bogotá

Luckia Casino, situated in the vibrant city of Bogotá, Colombia, positions itself as the city's largest poker room. Our aggregated user reviews provide a mixed but insightful picture of this casino, highlighting its strengths in poker alongside some notable concerns regarding other table games and overall service.

The Poker Room Experience ♠️

For poker enthusiasts, Luckia Casino appears to be a strong contender. Reviewers consistently praise the poker room, noting:

  1. Excellent Action: Patrons describe the poker room as an "excellent place to play poker" with "decent action."
  2. Table Variety: The casino offers a "good amount of tables" for popular variants like Hold'em and PLO, catering to different player preferences.
  3. Friendly Atmosphere: Many commend the "friendly staff" and "great people to play with," contributing to an enjoyable and fun environment.
  4. Honesty and Integrity: One remarkable account highlights the casino's integrity, where staff actively "chased [a player] down to give [them] the extra 300,000 they owed" after a cash-out, earning the casino "6 stars" for their operation.

Other Casino Games: Areas of Concern 🎲

While poker receives high marks, the experience with other traditional casino games seems to be less favorable according to some players:

  • Roulette: One reviewer expressed strong concerns, stating the "roulette is definitely rigged," leading to significant losses.
  • Blackjack: The blackjack setup is described as a "6 deck continuous shuffle," which is generally less favorable for players attempting card counting strategies.

Players "just passing through for fun" are advised to "beware" of these aspects, suggesting the house edge might feel particularly steep on these tables.

Staff and Service: A Mixed Bag 🤝

Customer service at Luckia Casino presents a polarized view:

  • Positive Interactions: Many reviews laud the staff as "nice" and "friendly," contributing positively to the gaming experience, particularly within the poker room.
  • Negative Experiences: Conversely, one serious complaint details a refusal of entry by a guard despite the individual being "24 " and possessing valid documents. This was compounded by a perceived "bad trait" from casino staff and a lack of resolution from a "chief," leading to the player leaving and recommending a nearby competitor, Rock N Jazz Casino. This suggests inconsistencies in service quality at the entry point and in handling customer issues.

Overall Impression

Luckia Casino seems to live up to its billing as Bogotá's biggest poker room, offering a solid and enjoyable experience for poker players with good action, varied tables, and generally positive interactions with staff. However, potential visitors should be aware of the criticisms regarding other table games, specifically the perceived fairness of roulette and the unfavorable blackjack rules.

The casino's overall atmosphere can be variable, with reports of it being empty at times, yet offering a lively environment for poker. While staff honesty is praised in some instances, there are clear reports of service issues that could significantly impact a visitor's experience, particularly concerning entry and problem resolution.

If your primary interest is poker, Luckia Casino could be a great choice in Bogotá. For other casino games or a guaranteed seamless service experience, it might be wise to approach with caution or explore alternatives in the area.

I’ve played in all type of casinos and in various countries; Colombia in general is the worst i’ve seen. The roulette is definitely rigged and the blackjack is a 6 deck continuous shuffle. I’ve never seen more money loss on a roulette table than here. Beware if you’re just passing through for fun.

I’ve been here before many times and yesterday the guard didn’t let me in cause I looked younger, even tho I’m +24 and I had plenty of documents to demonstrate it, they just didn’t want to check it out. People in the casino had a bad trait with me, also the chief, who didn’t even payed attention to my issue with the guard and leaving me there instead of proposing a solution or having a valid explanation. The casino was empty, thought they were busy with people but even the croupiers were waiting for people to get in. Had a good money to play blackjack but the service forced me to look into other casino’s nearby. Service has gone wrong lately, never coming back. I recommend the Rock N Jazz casino, one block away from the Luckia. Good game!

Decent action in the poker room, overall friendly staff. They didn't pay me enough when I cashed out (I didn't count it), and they chased me down to give me the extra 300,000 they owed me. Says a lot about their operation. 6 stars
