THE ARKIN ISKELE CASINO, located in Bafra, Cyprus, presents itself as a casino destination. However, recent user feedback highlights significant areas of concern, primarily revolving around customer service, discriminatory practices, and the overall gaming environment.
Customer Service and Restaurant Policy Issues π
One of the most prominent complaints reported by visitors pertains to the attitude of the staff, particularly at the entrance to the casino's restaurant. A specific incident detailed a situation where patrons, despite having deposited a significant amount (over 2000 lira) and actively playing, were reportedly asked to "lose 1000 lira first" before being granted access to the dining area. Even after having gambled and lost a substantial sum from their initial deposit, then winning back some of that amount, they were still denied entry to the restaurant. This policy, which seems to link restaurant access to gambling losses rather than active play or deposit amounts, has been described as "very poor service" and a stark contrast to the service experienced at other established casinos like Merit and Concord.
This approach to customer service has led to a feeling of being undervalued and unwelcome, with one user explicitly stating, "This was the first and last time we were here, we will never go here again." The expectation of a casino is generally to provide a welcoming and accommodating environment for its patrons, and these reported incidents suggest a deviation from such standards.
Environmental Concerns: Smoking and Ventilation π¨
Beyond service issues, the casino's internal environment also received criticism. Users have reported that the halls are "very smoky" and that the "ventilation is bad." For many, a comfortable and clean atmosphere is crucial for an enjoyable casino experience, and poor air quality can significantly detract from this, especially for non-smokers or those sensitive to smoke.
Summary of Key Concerns π
- Poor staff attitude, especially at the restaurant entrance.
- Discriminatory restaurant access policy seemingly based on gambling losses rather than active play or deposits.
- Overall perception of poor service quality.
- Excessively smoky environment within the casino halls.
- Inadequate ventilation contributing to poor air quality.
In conclusion, while THE ARKIN ISKELE CASINO operates in the Bafra area, prospective visitors should be aware of the consistent negative feedback regarding its customer service, particularly the restrictive and seemingly unfair restaurant access policies, as well as the reported issues with internal air quality due to smoke and poor ventilation. These factors suggest that the casino might not offer the premium or comfortable experience that some patrons expect from a gambling establishment.
Not the best attitude of the staff, especially at the entrance to the restaurant. We were there for the first time, before that we were regular customers of the Merit and Concord casinos. At the entrance to the restaurant, a man asked us to lose 1000 lira first, although we put more than 2000 lira on the account, during the game we lost more than 1000 lira, but then we won from this amount. Then we decided to go eat and continue the game. But they did not let us into the restaurant. This is a very poor service. This was the first and last time we were here, we will never go here again. Also, the halls are very smoky, the ventilation is bad.
