Casino Ambassador

Casino Ambassador, situated in the vibrant city of Prague, presents a highly polarized experience for its patrons. While some visitors have lauded it for specific events, many general reviews highlight significant drawbacks, ranging from operational issues to serious concerns about gaming fairness.

Entry Fee & Inclusions 💰

Most recent visitors report an entry fee ranging from 200 to 250 CZK. While this cost has been deemed "ridiculous" by some, it typically includes unlimited hot and cold drinks, which can be seen as a compensatory benefit.

Crowding & Space Limitations 👥

A predominant complaint, especially on weekends, is the casino's tendency to become severely overcrowded. Many groups have reported paying the entry fee only to find the venue "completely full" and "tiny," making it impossible to secure a seat at any gaming table. This often leads to a quick departure and a feeling of money wasted.

Observations also include numerous gaming tables remaining idle without active dealers, suggesting a potential staffing shortfall that exacerbates the seating dilemma.

Staff Conduct & Service Issues 😠

Customer experiences regarding staff vary dramatically. Several negative reviews cite instances of "extremely rude" roulette dealers, with one specific individual noted for yelling and arguing with multiple patrons. There are also reports of dealers talking disparagingly behind customers.

Conversely, one positive review specifically praised the "very friendly welcome," "excellent advice on payment and poker chips," and "impressively good" service, particularly when booking a private poker table for a special event. This stark contrast suggests that the quality of service might depend heavily on individual staff members encountered or the nature of the visit.

Gaming Integrity & House Edge Concerns 🎲

Perhaps the most serious allegations concern the integrity of the games themselves. One review boldly labeled the casino the "biggest scam ever," claiming a pattern where players are initially allowed to win before their gains are systematically recovered by the house.

  1. Regarding Blackjack, there are claims that the dealer "never bust and always win."
  2. For Roulette, a user reported witnessing dealers subtly "move the ball... depending on the intensity of the number," implying manipulation.

Beyond these grave accusations, the rake (house commission) on winnings is frequently described as "insane" by tourists. One specific account details a 10% deduction from winnings (e.g., 50 CZK taken from a 500 CZK win), significantly impacting player payouts.

Highlights & Potential for Positive Experiences ✨

Despite the prevalence of negative feedback, Casino Ambassador has delivered positive experiences, particularly for those who book dedicated services. A group celebrating a stag party highlighted their "great experience" with a hired private poker table, complete with a dedicated dealer and drinks service, deeming it an "unforgettable evening."

Some reviews also acknowledge a "nice environment" and appreciate the "free drinks" included with the entry fee, suggesting that the ambiance can be pleasant for a casual visit, provided the issues of crowding or game integrity don't overshadow it.

Overall Verdict ⚖️

Casino Ambassador in Prague presents a highly inconsistent visitor experience. While it appears capable of delivering excellent service for pre-arranged events or private bookings, general visitors face considerable risks. These include steep entry fees for what can be an overcrowded and cramped space, encounters with rude staff, and alarming allegations concerning the fairness and integrity of the games, compounded by a substantial rake on winnings.

Prospective patrons are strongly advised to consider these points, especially if their primary aim is serious gaming rather than a casual social outing for drinks and atmosphere.

It's not as bad as some of the reviews say but it isn't great. 250 czk entry fee is ridiculous but the place is PACKED on weekends. Some of the roulette dealers are extremely rude, one guy in particular must've have yelled and/ or argued with at least 15 different people while i was there. idk if ill go back

We went in as a group of 8, each of us paid 200czk and when we got inside it was completely full, we couldn't get a seat in anything. The place is TINY and people keep coming inWe went out after 30 minutes without even sitting down.Complete waste of money.Edit: we came again on a monday at 16:30, it was less full but still we couldn't find a table to sit at, there are many tables without a dealer, wonder why they dont get more employees

Writing as a tourist on a two-day trip.Entrance fee: 200 Koronos, but at least you get unlimited hot and cold drinks. The rake is just insane. I saw my dealer taking ten percent from winnings. Someone next to me won 500 kronor, and the dealer took 50—it’s crazy to me.Think carefully if you’re okay with them taking so much of your money.

We had a great experience at the Ambassador Casino in Prague for a friend's stag party. When we arrived, we received a very friendly welcome and were given a tour of the casino. The advice on payment and poker chips was excellent. The highlight was the hired private poker table with dealer and drinks service, which made our evening perfect. The service was impressively good and I would recommend this casino to anyone who wants to have an unforgettable evening in Prague.

Biggest scam ever. They let you to win first and then takes everything back. You should especially see the Blackjack. Come for free drink and nice environment but never play. Because it is biggest scam ever. I have a scret Blackjack video and I will install it, so you will see. There is a moment that dealer never bust and always win. Also, I saw many times that they move the ball in roulette depending on the intensity of the number. Some Dealers are very rude and they talk behind you. NEVER NEVER GO THERE.
