The LIFESTYLE HOTEL in Prague, primarily known as a casino, offers accommodation that elicits a wide range of guest experiences. Based on recent reviews, prospective visitors should be aware of both its potential value and notable drawbacks, particularly concerning basic amenities and service quality.
Several guests have noted that the rooms and en-suites offer good value for the price, especially for budget-conscious travelers.
Rooms are generally described as having ample space, with options available for multiple adults including king, single, and sofa beds.
The hotel boasts plenty of car parking spaces, which can be a significant advantage for those traveling by car.
While often cited as being far from the city center, one recent guest found the location to be perfect for attending a nearby wedding, indicating its suitability for specific local events.
A very recent review (5 months ago) highlighted the rooms and en-suites as clean and well-maintained.
Despite some positives, a consistent pattern of significant issues emerges from guest feedback:
This is arguably the most frequent and severe complaint. Multiple guests reported losing hot water during their stay, sometimes for extended periods (1.5 days or more), with staff reportedly unable to fix the issue. This fundamental amenity seems unreliable.
Beyond the most recent positive feedback, other reviews describe rooms as dusty, poorly cleaned, with questionable stains on carpets and showers, and dirty/dusty floors. This suggests an inconsistency in housekeeping standards.
The hotel is considered quite far from central Prague, requiring a 15-minute drive or 30 minutes via public transport, which might be inconvenient for tourists focusing on city sightseeing.
Guest experiences with staff are largely negative. Descriptions include staff being "uninterested," "like a robot," and lacking service-mindedness, making it "hard to get words from him." This indicates a need for improved customer service training.
Some rooms lacked basic items like welcome signs, evacuation manuals, or even a bottle of water. There was also a report of a broken shower door that guests attempted to fix themselves.
Several reviewers believe the hotel does not live up to a 4-star title, suggesting it feels more like a 1 or 2-star establishment.
One review mentioned karaoke noise at night, though it reportedly stops before 11 pm.
LIFESTYLE HOTEL presents a mixed bag for travelers. While it may appeal to those seeking a budget-friendly option with convenient parking, especially if attending events in the immediate vicinity, the recurring issues with hot water, general cleanliness, and staff attentiveness are significant deterrents. The discrepancy between its perceived star rating and actual guest experience is also a critical point. Visitors should manage their expectations regarding hotel standards and be prepared for potential inconveniences, particularly if a hot shower is a priority.
The rooms, en-suites are clean and very good for the price.Regarding to the location it is perfect for our occasion as we were attending a wedding couple minutes walk away.Lots of car parking spaces and sometimes karaoke can be heard at night (stops before 11pm)
First of all, very far from the city centre, like a good 15 minute drive or 30 minutes with public transport. Staff was okay, not rude but seemed very uninterested. Room had a lot of space, room layout could be better though. When entered there were no welcome signs, evacuation manuals or even a bottle of water. The furniture were dusty and poorly cleaned. There were questionable stains all over the carpet floor and the shower. It seems like the carpet is to dismiss the fact that it hasn't been cleaned for a long time. Also on the second day there was no warm water. When you go and take a shower it's lukewarm for the first few seconds but then goes to cold, when asked the staff said they couldn't fix it. Overall not a good experience, do not recommend. Doesn't deserve the 4* title.
You get what you pay for. Room was cheap. Saw prior reviews from the summer stating no hot water. Gave them the benefit of the doubt knowing things happen and booked with them solely based on the price for a cheap weekend getaway. After night one we lost hot water and didn’t have hot water again until the morning of leaving. We stayed Fri - Sun. Everything else was as pictured and the room was decently sized. Booked a room for 3 adults and the room had a king, single, and a sofa bed. Room was clean.
Really bad asian(vietnamese) guy in reception. He worked like a robot. No service minded at all. Hard to get words from him. God advice to the boss. Fire him before you have no more customer. I give your hotel no star at all because of this guy!!!
Never ever returning to this hotel again! In my opinion it is a 1 or 2 star hotel and for sure not a 4 stat hotel. We spend 2 nights in the hotel. At the time of arrival there was warm water, in de afternoon apparently the boiler broke. For the rest of de 1,5 days we had to take cold showers. The shower door was broken, after a couple of time that the portier came to fix it i tried to repair it myself. The room was not clean at all, the floor was really dirty and dusty.
