Located in Pléneuf-Val-André, France, the Casino Val André - Partouche presents a varied experience according to recent visitor feedback. As a primary casino establishment, it aims to offer entertainment and dining, but reviews indicate a significant divergence in guest satisfaction, particularly concerning service and overall ambiance.
The casino's general appearance and atmosphere seem to divide opinion. Some visitors have described the establishment as having "seen better times," noting it looks "rusty" and "not inviting." This suggests that the venue might benefit from updates or better maintenance to enhance its appeal. However, despite these criticisms, the casino does offer "plenty of room inside and out," which could be a positive for those seeking space.
Customer service at Casino Val André - Partouche is a major point of contention among reviewers, presenting starkly contrasting narratives:
The dining experience at the casino also reflects the mixed nature of the reviews. While some patrons laud a "good variety of food at a reasonable price," others have encountered severe issues. Reports of food taking "over 2 hours to serve a starter and a main" highlight significant inefficiencies in the kitchen or serving process. These lengthy waits, coupled with unfulfilled drink orders, suggest that the dining arm of the casino can be a source of frustration for some guests.
An absolutely crucial piece of advice for prospective visitors is regarding entry requirements. One reviewer explicitly states, "Bring your passport or passport card or you won't get in." This indicates a strict identification policy, and visitors without proper, valid identification should expect to be denied entry. It is highly recommended to prepare this in advance to avoid disappointment upon arrival.
Casino Val André - Partouche appears to be a venue with significant potential, offering a casino experience in a scenic location. However, its reputation is undeniably impacted by inconsistent service and potentially dated facilities. While some visitors have enjoyed "excellent & polite staff" and "good variety of food," others have faced "abysmal" service and unacceptably long waits. The most critical takeaway for any potential visitor is to ensure you have your passport or passport card ready for entry. Depending on your priorities, and with awareness of these varied experiences, the Casino Val André - Partouche could be a hit or miss destination.
Just encountered the worst service ever. It was diabolical. Ordered wine and never received it despite many requests. It took over 2 hours to serve a starter and a main and we were just left hanging around for hours. The casino in Pleuneuf val Andre is a place to avoid whether it is for food or a drink. The service is abysmal.
This place was one of my favourite places to visit but yesterday we went there after getting married and the staff clearly did not want to serve us and were not in any way pleasant. I have to say this is not the normal here but I would not risk again 😥
Good variety of food at a reasonable price, plenty of room inside and outExcellent & polite staff.
Bring your passport or passport card or you won't get in. I didn't so this review is limited to that tidbit of advice.
Well, this casino has seen better times. It looks rusty and is not inviting. Better spend the time at the beautiful beach.
