Casino Star, located in Bad Oeynhausen, serves as a casino primarily offering slot machines and electronic gaming. Recent visitor feedback, particularly from the past year, paints a challenging picture of the establishment, though older reviews offered a more mixed perspective. Potential visitors should be aware of several recurring concerns.
The perception of staff attentiveness appears to have shifted over time. While some older reviews noted "nice staff" and a familiar, friendly atmosphere, more recent accounts express significant dissatisfaction. Visitors report staff being "not interested" or only "moderately interested" in customer requests or issues. One particularly frustrating incident involved staff reportedly ignoring a player who was occupying multiple machines and acting disruptive.
This is a critical area where Casino Star receives strong criticism. Recent complaints highlight a severe lack of machine availability, with all machines often occupied. A specific concern was the alleged practice of some individuals monopolizing multiple machines, playing at very low stakes (e.g., 10-cent autostart) while frequently topping up, effectively preventing other patrons from playing. Furthermore, the performance of the machines themselves has been questioned. Recent reviews claim the "machines don't work at all," which could imply frequent malfunctions or extremely poor payout rates. Even older reviews, while otherwise positive, noted a feeling that "winning chances have fallen drastically" compared to previous years, indicating a long-standing concern about payout transparency.
The general ambiance of Casino Star receives largely negative remarks from recent visitors. It has been described as "very run down" and "not particularly pleasant." One very negative review even likened the atmosphere to a chaotic environment, with specific examples of disruptive behavior by patrons, such as yelling for service. This suggests that the environment can be far from the relaxed and enjoyable experience one might seek in a casino setting.
Based on the recent feedback, Casino Star appears to be struggling with customer service, machine availability, and maintaining a welcoming environment. Prospective visitors seeking a modern, well-maintained, and user-friendly gaming experience might find the current offerings at Casino Star to be significantly lacking.
Yesterday I drove there specifically, all the machines were occupied, while I was waiting I noticed that a guy had occupied 4 machines and was constantly refilling β¬2 and playing leisurely on 10 cent Autostart, the lady at the counter wasn't interested in that. The same guy was screaming for pizza and cafes and acting like a Pasha as if it was his arcade. It feels like the asylum seekers' home is a catastrophe. I then drove away again!!!!!
Worst casino I've visited in years. Staff is so moderately interested in customer requests. The machines don't work at all. The ambience, like the machines, is very run down. It's a disgrace that you even open something like that as an owner. Officially -5β
In general it's a nice Spielo staff and they've known each other for years, but I have the feeling that compared to the last few years the chances of winning have fallen drastically. I would be happy if you could read somewhere about what the chances are
