SPIELSTATION Guide and Review

Located in Baden-Baden, Germany, SPIELSTATION operates as a gaming hall, primarily offering slot machines rather than the traditional table games often associated with a grand casino. User reviews present a mixed bag of experiences, highlighting both positive aspects of the staff and environment, alongside significant concerns regarding machine operations and perceived integrity.
Overall Experience & Atmosphere
The atmosphere at SPIELSTATION appears to be that of a typical gaming arcade. Recent feedback indicates that smoking is permitted within the premises, a policy that was temporarily suspended during the Corona period. This might appeal to some visitors but could be a deterrent for others. The establishment generally strives for a clean environment, and staff are frequently described as friendly and committed, even when issues arise.
Points to Consider Based on User Feedback:
Crowd & Availability 🕰️
Prospective visitors should be aware that the venue can get quite busy, especially during peak times. One review noted that as early as 11:45 a.m. on a weekday, all machines were occupied, with a 20-minute wait yielding no availability. However, staff are reportedly proactive in communicating this upon entry.
Customer Service & Staff Interaction 👍
Despite some negative experiences concerning machine functionality, the staff at SPIELSTATION frequently receive positive mentions for their demeanor. They are often described as friendly, kind, and engaged. One user, despite having a significant monetary issue, still acknowledged the staff's initial helpfulness in trying to resolve the problem.
Machine Reliability & Payouts 💸
This area presents the most significant concerns highlighted by user reviews. There are unsettling reports of money getting stuck in machines during transactions, leading to disputes over reimbursement. In one instance, a 10€ bill was reported stuck, and a subsequent "technician's" report claimed "nothing found," leading to strong accusations of dishonesty and frustration from the customer. Furthermore, a very serious allegation of "cheating when rebooking" has been made by another reviewer, who strongly advised staying away from the establishment. These are serious accusations that prospective visitors should consider before visiting.
Gambling & Responsibility
One reviewer aptly points out that SPIELSTATION is a gambling establishment, and individuals are ultimately responsible for managing their own play and potential addiction. This serves as a general reminder of the inherent nature of such venues.
Conclusion
SPIELSTATION in Baden-Baden offers a classic slot machine experience, with an environment that now allows smoking and generally friendly staff. However, potential visitors should be aware of the possibility of crowded conditions and, more importantly, the recurring and serious allegations of machine malfunctions and perceived dishonesty related to cash handling and payouts. While the staff may be amiable and responsive to immediate needs, the issues with machine integrity and resolution processes highlighted in some reviews warrant caution and careful consideration.
During the week all machines are full at 11:45 a.m. Even after waiting 20 minutes nothing was available. However, the employee kindly pointed this out to me when I went in.
To the bad recessions, you CAN smoke (it was only banned during the Corona period) and it's still gambling, if you don't have your addiction under control, the company can't do anything about it 😂Clean, friendly staff, yeah🤷🏻
Hey people,First of all, the staff is mostly committed and nice. The machine was fed a €20 bill and dutifully loaded it with €10. He wanted to eject the other €10 bill but it got stuck despite the nice lady's repeated efforts. In the end, she followed the protocol that was probably given. She felt everything out and said we should come back tomorrow because a “technician” would have to look at it and then we would get the €10 back.Every time we came back she showed us the log saying nothing had been found. An absolute impudence from the so-called technician who either has something wrong with his eyes or is just a dirty little scoundrel!!! If he had said that to my face I would verbally really go sledding with him.May the €10 stick in your throat, you Bas…. !Unfortunately, I have heard of such an action from others and this is not an isolated case.Ps. The whole thing was 2-3 months ago but it doesn't change anything.
