SPIELSTATION

SPIELSTATION, located in Bremen, Germany, is primarily described as a casino. However, user reviews suggest it operates more akin to a gaming arcade or hall, offering activities such as billiards and various slot or coin-operated machines. The overall sentiment from visitors is overwhelmingly negative, marked by consistent complaints regarding customer service, operational issues, and pricing.

Key Criticisms from Visitors ⚠️

  1. Unfriendly and Unhelpful Staff: A recurring theme in the reviews is the poor attitude and unfriendliness of the staff. One user stated, "employees, unfriendly, and cheeky," while another lamented, "Bedienung sehr unfreundlich ,geht gar nicht. Only a few of the staff were friendly!" This lack of cordiality significantly detracts from the visitor experience.
  2. Money Changer Issues and Lack of Refunds: Several serious incidents were reported concerning the money changers. Customers claimed to have inserted money (e.g., €50) that was not dispensed, with staff allegedly witnessing the issue but refusing to provide a refund, citing "no surplus" or similar excuses. Visitors were strongly advised to "Be careful with the money changer, if you lose money then there will be no refund from the hall."
  3. High Billiards Prices: For those looking to play billiards, the cost was a major deterrent. Reviewers consistently found the €14 per hour fee to be "totally outrageous" and "simply too expensive," leading some to leave immediately or not fully utilize their paid time.
  4. Uncomfortable Playing Environment: At least one visitor noted that the venue was "too warm to play" billiards, which impacted their ability to enjoy the activity.
  5. Allegations of Customer Discrimination: A concerning review claimed that "regular customers are thrown out because they only want to attract young players," suggesting potentially discriminatory practices against loyal patrons.

Specific Experiences Highlighted 🎱💰

One particularly distressing experience involved a user who put €50 into a money changer, only for no money to come out. Despite an employee witnessing the transaction, a refund was allegedly denied, with a later claim of "no surplus." The user suspected that the technician may have pocketed the money, urging others to "Be careful people!!!" The high cost of billiards, at €14 per hour, was also a common point of contention, causing many to seek alternative entertainment options elsewhere.

Overall Verdict 👎

Based on the feedback provided by visitors, SPIELSTATION in Bremen appears to suffer from significant shortcomings in both customer service and operational reliability. The combination of consistently unfriendly staff, problematic money changers with alleged non-payouts, and disproportionately high prices for activities like billiards creates a largely negative experience. Potential visitors should proceed with extreme caution, particularly regarding monetary transactions, and manage their expectations regarding service quality.

These arcades 24 Here I am King is the very last thing, employees, unfriendly, and cheeky, money is not paid out even though the employee saw me pushing €50 into the changer and no money came out. A few days later it said no surplus in the changer. It's ridiculous that the technician put the €50 into his pocket. Be careful people!!!

Went there to play billiards. Tables etc. were okay. At €14 an hour it's simply too expensive. We didn't use the hour because it was just too warm to play.

I find 14 euros for 1 hour of billiards totally outrageous, so I immediately went somewhere else...not recommended!!!!!
