Located within the Elbepark in Dresden, Spielhalle Las Vegas is a casino-style establishment primarily featuring slot machines. User feedback presents a mixed picture, highlighting both commendable service aspects and significant concerns regarding customer interactions and the overall gaming experience.
Several patrons have praised the staff for their attentiveness and friendliness. Reviews mention "service on point, friendly and accommodating" and describe waitresses as having "charisma, outfits, and service [that were] top-notch!" This suggests that for many visitors, the human element significantly enhances their experience, making it a place they "will want to go back to."
The atmosphere has been described as "nice" and inviting. After its reopening in June 2021, the venue appears to have made efforts to create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits, even when luck might not be on the player's side.
This is a significant point of contention among some users. One particularly concerning review recounts a situation where a patron, with โฌ73.80 still on a machine close to closing time, was allegedly offered a reduced payout of โฌ60 (with a โฌ10 'fee') to avoid waiting for the full amount. Such incidents raise serious questions about fair practices, especially when the establishment is about to close. Another user expressed strong dissatisfaction, stating they had "nothing won for half a year" and labeling the place a "rip off," which, while common in gambling, reflects poor customer sentiment regarding perceived win rates.
The Spielhalle is noted for being "very small [with] only 12 machines." This limited number of machines can lead to issues, as one reviewer observed "some people play on two devices," potentially reducing the availability for other players and creating a sense of overcrowding or limited choice.
Spielhalle Las Vegas im Elbepark Dresden appears to be a venue with a Jekyll-and-Hyde reputation. On one hand, it boasts friendly and efficient service staff and a generally pleasant atmosphere, which are crucial for a good entertainment experience. On the other hand, the casino faces significant criticism regarding its payout practices, particularly concerning credit on machines at closing, and the overall perception of fairness regarding winnings. The small number of machines is also a practical limitation.
For those considering a visit, it's worth noting the positive aspects of the staff and ambiance. However, potential visitors should be aware of the reported issues with payouts and the limited gaming options. It seems that while the staff may be a highlight, the core gaming experience and transparency around winnings could benefit from substantial improvements to ensure a more consistently positive experience for all patrons.
I don't recommend this place! Every second person here takes two or three machines. The guy at the counter just says, "We tolerate that." When you ask him about it, I didn't even know you were still allowed to do that... it's actually forbidden.
So I was in Las Vegas at the Elbepark and the store was closing at that time, was I still standing? It says โฌ73.80 and a second break of 30 minutes. I was offered ten euros and hepays me 60. Otherwise I have to wait. Even though the store is closing in 20 minutes
After the reopening in June 2021, I was blown away by the new waitresses (first shift). Their charisma, outfits, and service were top-notch!It's a place you'll want to go back to, even if your luck isn't always on your side.
