Located in the vibrant Reeperbahn district of Hamburg, Germany, the Spielbank Hamburg Casino offers a multi-level gambling experience. While it may initially appear modest, the casino is spread across four floors, catering to various gaming preferences, including a dedicated high-stakes poker area on its top level.
Visitors can find a diverse selection of gaming machines, many of which are translatable to English, ensuring accessibility for international guests. Virtual roulette tables have been highlighted as a popular choice among patrons. The casino aims to provide an environment for both casual "light gambling with friends" and more serious play.
While the casino offers a range of games, prospective visitors should be aware of several recurring points raised in recent user feedback:
The Spielbank Hamburg - Casino Reeperbahn presents a mixed bag of experiences. It offers a spread-out gaming environment with various machine and table options, including high-stakes poker, making it suitable for those looking for a diverse gambling night out. However, potential visitors, especially international guests, should be prepared for potentially restrictive ID policies and a smoking-permitted environment on the gaming floors. Additionally, there have been concerns raised about staff competence and management responsiveness, suggesting an inconsistent service experience.
It's advisable to verify current entry requirements directly with the casino before planning your visit, particularly if you are not carrying a German ID.
I recently visited this Casino and had an unfortunate experience. Despite presenting a valid European ID card, I was denied entry solely because it was not a German ID. This policy strikes me as unprofessional and outdated.Given the interconnected nature of the European Union, where travel and residency across member states are commonplace, it is essential for establishments like casinos to update their systems and policies to accommodate all EU citizens equitably. Relying on outdated practices not only inconveniences patrons but also reflects poorly on the institution's adaptability and customer service standards.I urge this Casino to revise their entry protocols and ensure that all European ID cards are recognized. This change would demonstrate a commitment to inclusivity and modern standards, enhancing the overall customer experience.
Good hostel clean, no too expensive, the isolation is good there is a lot of noise in the street but in the room you don't hear it
The Casino appears small but it is spread over 4 floors with the top floor being a high stakes poker area. There are loads of different machines all translatable to English of which the virtual roulette table was my favourite. I would warn those of you from the UK that are used to smoking that the game machine floors allow smoking which has the obvious side effects of your clothes reeking and throat hurting. All in all decent little casino for a bit of light gambling with friends.
The dealers can't count. Two times we had to correct the dealers. When i spoke to the manager, she told me they were only human đ
