Casino Royal in Hanover, Germany, primarily operating as a casino, elicits a rather mixed but largely critical response from its visitors. While some express general satisfaction, detailed reviews highlight several areas that could significantly detract from the overall gaming experience, positioning it more as a typical German "Spielothek" (gaming arcade) than a luxurious casino.
The consensus among more detailed reviews suggests that Casino Royal might not live up to expectations for those seeking a modern, clean, and well-managed casino environment. It appears to function more like a traditional gaming hall with some significant drawbacks in terms of ambiance, cleanliness, and guest management.
Based on limited positive feedback:
A significant portion of the feedback points to crucial issues that impact the visitor experience:
For those considering a visit to Casino Royal in Hanover, it's advisable to manage expectations. While the staff might be friendly, the dated ambience, persistent cleanliness issues, and reported security concerns regarding other guests and staff's inability to enforce rules suggest that there may be more comfortable and secure gaming alternatives available in the region. If you prioritize a modern, clean, and well-regulated environment, you might find this establishment somewhat lacking.
Ambience: 80s, toilets: Nobody has reported this to the office/authority, it's not really a miracle here, equipment unclean, ashtrays overflowing,Annoying, disruptive non-German speaking guests, pay attention to your wallet and valuables at the stone gate & don't just walk from the device to the toilet, otherwise the gaming device with amounts will suddenly belong to someone else. Stress is guaranteed here when you come from the toilet. The service team is friendly but unfortunately not assertive and does not make use of house rules. In terms of the overall impression, there are really better traders at gaming halls and casinos.
