MERKUR SPIELHALLE Hannover, situated in Hanover, Germany, is primarily a casino establishment offering slot machines. User reviews for this location present a notably mixed picture, showcasing both significant strengths and areas where improvements are desired, particularly concerning the overall atmosphere and customer interaction.
One highly positive review stands out for its strong praise of the staff, describing them as "100% always in a good mood, nice and polite." This particular patron regarded it as the "best Merkur casino in Hanover", largely attributing this high satisfaction to the excellent service provided by the employees.
While one older comment mentioned a "small number of slot machines," a more recent review noted "lots of machines," suggesting that the venue might offer a good selection of gaming options for players, or that its inventory has expanded over time. This discrepancy highlights varied individual experiences.
A recurring concern among several reviewers is the nature of the other patrons. Comments include observations that "the crowd inside is sometimes really bad" and that "some [customers] are very aggressive." One user noted receiving "strange impressions of people" from diverse backgrounds, which contributed to an uncomfortable environment.
A significant negative experience was reported regarding machine access. A patron wished to play an unmanned machine but was denied because another customer, already using a different machine, claimed it was "occupied." This incident points to potential issues with informal "reservations" by patrons or a need for clearer staff policies on machine availability.
The current location is unfavorably compared to a previous Merkur establishment at Glocksee Station, which was deemed "much better located and much more pleasant overall." The present site received criticism for its less appealing surroundings, with one reviewer mentioning being bothered by "pigeons on the way in."
An older review explicitly pointed out a "small number of slot machines," which could be a drawback for players seeking a broad range of gaming options. However, as previously noted, this contradicts a more recent comment about "lots of machines," so it might be an outdated concern or simply a matter of individual perception.
MERKUR SPIELHALLE Hannover appears to be a venue with a distinct split in customer experiences. While some visitors praise the highly attentive and friendly staff, and potentially a decent selection of machines, others are significantly impacted by the challenging social environment and specific issues related to machine access. Prospective visitors should consider these contrasting perspectives, particularly if the comfort of the social setting is a priority for their casino experience.
I'm coming in and want to play...Someone is sitting at the neighboring machineand the employee asks him if I can use the unmanned machines and he says no! occupied! đđđ even though he's already sitting at an ATM and there was no money on it where I wanted to goIs this still normal????????
The Merkur at Glocksee Station, so wonderfully located on the Ihme and Linden, was simply much better located and much more pleasant overall. Here you get shot at by pigeons on the way in and the crowd inside is sometimes really bad. At least you can regularly take a few Merkur glasses with you, as they are simply left in front of the establishment.
In Hanover the best Merkur casino this Merkur hall has by far the 100% staff always in a good mood nice and polite I am 100% satisfied and I am always very happy to come 5 stars from me / I don't know what kind of problems people have no one knows I have ever experienced things like this please don't lie to everyone
Lots of machines but also lots of strange impressions of people. The other customers are from all walks of life, which is why some are very aggressive.
