Located in Leipzig, Germany, SPIEL-IN Spielhalle positions itself as a casino-type establishment, primarily offering slot machines. Reviews from visitors paint a very mixed picture, with a stark divide between those who appreciate certain aspects and those who find the core gaming experience deeply unsatisfactory.
The most significant and consistent criticism leveled against SPIEL-IN Spielhalle revolves around the perceived fairness of its slot machines and the lack of winning opportunities. Multiple users express extreme frustration:
One reviewer explicitly states, "The slot machines are the last thing, the chance of winning is almost zero." They highlight the futility of investing money, lamenting that "getting just a little back is hopeless." This leads to a conclusion that "playing is no fun" and the venue is "not recommended."
Another dissatisfied patron goes further, claiming that "unfortunately everything was manipulated at its best." After frequent visits without success, they describe their bad luck as "abnormal," indicating a strong belief that the games are unfairly rigged against the player.
Beyond allegations of manipulation, the practical outcome is consistently reported as poor. Players report "hardly any free spins and then with hardly any significant winnings," leading to a feeling that "the games on the slot machines leave a lot to be desired."
While the gaming experience faces heavy criticism, opinions on staff and the physical environment are more varied:
Some positive feedback highlights the upkeep of the premises. One visitor praised the "very clean and well-kept premises" and noted that "the staff are always friendly and helpful." Another reviewer, who has observed the hall's transformation over five years, also found the atmosphere "cozy and cheerful."
However, not all experiences with staff have been positive. A particularly troubling incident involved staff allegedly giving away a forgotten pack of cigarettes, with a weak excuse for not knowing who the original owners were, despite the small number of machines. This incident contributed significantly to a reviewer's "not recommended" stance.
The atmosphere is also a point of contention. While some find it "cozy," others describe the environment as "super loud" and generally "boring." A major concern raised is the blatant disregard and unenforcement of rules, specifically regarding "double use" of machines. Reviewers noted instances where a single person occupied multiple machines, even in non-smoking areas, severely limiting access for other patrons and rendering posted rules "superfluous."
SPIEL-IN Spielhalle Leipzig appears to struggle significantly with the core expectation of a casino: fair and enjoyable gaming. While some visitors appreciate the cleanliness and friendliness of staff, the overwhelming sentiment leans towards frustration due to perceived low winning chances and alleged manipulation. Potential visitors should weigh the reported concerns about game fairness and rule enforcement against the positive mentions of facility upkeep and occasional friendly service.
The slot machines are the last thing, the chance of winning is almost zero. You can go there every day and put a lot of money into it no matter how many ATMs, but getting just a little back is hopeless. Playing is no fun. Not recommended.
Unfortunately everything was manipulated at its best, 5 days ago I was there almost every 2 days and it can't be that I'm so unlucky that it's already abnormal. The people in there are super loud and everything feels boring.Kind regards, the guy who can't be fooled anymore!
Very clean and well-kept premises. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
Atmosphere is cozy though. Still not recommended. The best part was after we forgot our full pack of cigarettes at one of our previous seats for 2 minutes, the staff said they had given them to someone else and didn't know we were sitting there before, mind you there are only 6 in total which are easy to see Machine where only the two of us were sitting at the time. Not being able to see who is sitting where is a very poor excuse. The games on the slot machines leave a lot to be desired, hardly any free spins and then with hardly any significant winnings. There are signs that prohibit double use, but neither the person in charge behind the counter nor the players are interested in this. For example, 3 out of 5 functioning machines were confiscated by one person, the other 2 by another, meaning that smoking was only possible without playing. Even in the non-smoking area, 2 of 6 machines were occupied by one person. The signs are then superfluous.
I have experienced the transformation of this hall for 5 years and I think it is cozy and cheerful
