Opap Play Paros, located in Ermoupoli (Syros), Greece, operates as a casino offering gaming facilities. User reviews for this establishment present a varied picture, with some notable concerns recently emerging regarding service quality and staff professionalism, despite earlier positive feedback.
A recurring complaint from several visitors revolves around significant delays and slow service. One recent review detailed an frustrating experience of being made to "Wait over 1 Hour outside," being repeatedly told "20 min," only to witness staff admitting other guests whom they knew first. Another visitor described waiting "20 minutes at the reception for him to open machines in an empty store." Furthermore, the casino's card-based gaming system contributes to these delays, with one user explicitly stating that "preparation of the cards takes a good half hour to be able to play." This suggests that even when the venue is not busy, initiating gameplay can be a drawn-out process.
Feedback on the staff is sharply contrasted, with more recent reviews indicating a decline in service standards. A user from ten months ago described an encounter with "the worst staff I have ever dealt with," highlighting extreme rudeness and a dismissive attitude during a card replacement request. This staff member reportedly spoke to patrons "as if we were his trash" and claimed a simple card replacement would take an unrealistic "15 minutes" per card. This prompted the visitor to report the incident to the store manager. In contrast, older reviews (from seven years ago) had previously praised the establishment for having a "nice crew" and described the staff as "kind and very helpful," creating a "very warm environment." This discrepancy suggests a potential shift in staff quality or training over time.
Opap Play Paros is described as a "small casino" by one reviewer. Its operational model relies on a card system for gameplay. While this system facilitates play once set up, as mentioned, the initial setup process can be time-consuming.
Based on the collective feedback, particularly the more recent reviews, Opap Play Paros appears to have challenges with customer service efficiency and staff professionalism. Visitors should be prepared for potential long waits and possible unhelpful interactions, especially when dealing with basic service requests like card setup or replacement.
If your schedule is tight or you value prompt and courteous service above all else, you might find the experience at Opap Play Paros frustrating. However, for those with ample time and a willingness to overlook potential service bottlenecks, the gaming itself might still offer an "interesting" experience, as one older review indicated, provided you are patient.
They let us Wait over 1 Hour outside Tell us everytime 20 min and then take other guests from the Island in That they knew so we go without playing
The worst staff I have ever dealt with in play opap. I went with my friends to play 2 days ago and he was a rude guy who had us and we waited 20 minutes at the reception for him to open machines in an empty store and when we went to call him he says I can't come you will wait! When he came forward we wanted a card replacement and he talked as if we were his trash and told us that each replacement would take him 15 minutes (if you don't know where the 4 go, that's how long it usually takes). You should evaluate your employees more because the particular one you have in the store is not up to the job both in terms of knowledge and behavior!!! Of course we didn't leave him so we called the store manager and informed her about the scene!
Very long service to come and play. It is a small casino that operates with a card system. It takes a good half hour to prepare the cards to be able to play. If you are in a hurry I don't recommend it but it's still interesting to play.
