Club Hotel Casino Loutraki Guide and Review

Club Hotel Casino Loutraki, primarily known for its casino, offers guests a diverse experience, blending impressive elements with notable areas for improvement. Located in the beautiful city of Loutraki, the hotel boasts a prime seaside position, but guest experiences vary significantly across different aspects of their stay.
Location & Surroundings β¨
One of the hotel's strongest suits is its excellent location. Guests frequently praise its proximity to key attractions and restaurants, making it highly convenient for exploring the Loutraki area. Beyond the immediate vicinity, the hotel offers a beautiful view and direct access to a pleasant walk alongside the beach, dotted with various restaurants, adding to its appeal for those seeking a scenic getaway.
Accommodation & Service π¨
Rooms & Cleanliness
Feedback on the rooms themselves is generally positive, with one reviewer highlighting the room as "very nice" and the bathroom as "so clean and good," stating that "everything was perfect." However, some guests noted that while the rooms were pleasant, the "rest of the hotel seems a bit dated," suggesting a need for broader renovations beyond just the guest rooms.
Staff Experience
The hotel staff generally receives commendation for being kind and professional. However, there was a particularly negative encounter reported in the casino's restaurant, where a waiter was described as "really rude" and "screamed" at a guest, leading to a very uncomfortable experience. This isolated but impactful incident suggests inconsistency in service quality, particularly within the dining areas associated with the casino.
Amenities & Facilities πββοΈ
Pools & Spa β οΈ
The hotel's recreational facilities, particularly the pools and spa, received significant criticism. Guests reported that the outside pool was "freezing," making it unusable for many. Furthermore, the indoor pool imposed strict child restrictions, with children not allowed between 15:30-20:00, which was a "big disappointment" for families. Compounding this, the outside pool reportedly closed early at 17:00, and there was an unfortunate instance where a pool was closed for two days without prior notice. The spa, too, was described as "pretty mid," with inconsistent access rules; a 15-year-old was denied entry on one day after being allowed the day before. The gym, however, was noted as "alright" with "a lot of machines."
Breakfast & Dining π½οΈ
Opinions on breakfast were mixed. While one reviewer found it "good," another described it as "mid" with "not that much of a choice," indicating room for improvement in variety and quality. The casino's restaurant, separate from general hotel dining, was criticized for "terrible" queues and the aforementioned rude service incident.
Fitness & Other Facilities
Beyond the primary amenities, some minor maintenance issues were reported in the rooms, such as a broken toilet paper holder and delays in receiving requested shampoo. These small details, while not major, contributed to a less than ideal guest experience for some.
Family Considerations π¨βπ©βπ§βπ¦
Families with children should be particularly mindful of the Club Hotel Casino Loutraki. Beyond the restrictive pool access for children, a significant safety concern was raised: the public balcony fences on every floor have "big holes in it," making it potentially unsafe for "a child under like 5/6 yr." This is a crucial safety alert for parents considering this hotel for a family vacation.
The Casino Experience π°
As the primary type of the place, the casino is certainly present, offering gambling opportunities for guests. However, direct feedback on the casino itself (games, atmosphere, etc.) is limited to an experience in its accompanying restaurant, which, as noted, was marred by poor service. While the casino is a central feature, potential visitors should be aware that the adjacent dining experiences might detract from the overall enjoyment.
Overall Verdict π€
Club Hotel Casino Loutraki presents a contradictory experience. Its prime location and often friendly staff, coupled with sometimes "very nice" rooms and a "beautiful view," form the positive core. However, these are frequently overshadowed by inconsistent service, particularly in dining areas, significant issues with pool and spa access/quality, minor maintenance shortcomings, and serious safety concerns for young children. While suitable for those primarily interested in the casino and a good location, families or guests seeking a flawless and consistently maintained resort experience might find themselves disappointed. Therefore, potential visitors should weigh the attractive location and core hotel offerings against the numerous reported operational and maintenance issues.
We came on vacation as a family, the breakfast was mid, bit that much of a choice, the spa was pretty mid as well, the workers at the spa didn't let a 15 year old get in even the day before the did let him, the gym is alright, there is a lot of machines also the pool was closed for two days which was unfortunate π the toilet thingy that holds the toilet paper was broken and they gave us shampoo 2 days after we asked for it, also DO NOT bring a child under like 5/6 yr because their every floor public balcony fence has big holes in it.I forgot mentioning that there is a beautiful view and a walk next to the beach with restaurants next to it.so to conclude I won't recommend going there.
The room was very nice, but the rest of the hotel seems a bit dated. Staff was kind and professional. Breakfast was good. Bathroom so clean and good. The room really was nice. Everything was perfect. There is a casino thereI have parkingIn the areaThis is good hotel for staying
We were really disappointed about the outside pool. It was freezing and when we wanted to use the pool inside it was said that children werenβt allowed from 15:30-20 h. Do we went back outside the pool closed at 17 h. Big disappointment for my 8 year old very calm daughter
The hotelβs location was excellentβclose to key attractions and restaurants. It is very convenient for exploring the area.
We visited Casino just for fun and decided to give a try to the restaurant inside. The queue was terrible as you had to wait to sit to a table and the waiter was really rude. Iβve never faced again something like this.I tried to help by giving him a dish from our table and he screamed at me in a very unpleasant way. I felt really uncomfortable as other guests saw it.I only wanted to help as I totally understand that this job is really difficult and stressful.I will never do it again.Maybe the management has to pay them more in order to keep them happy.
