Casino Pécs, situated in the historic city of Pécs, Hungary, elicits a range of opinions from its visitors. While some aspects are commended, several recurring criticisms highlight areas of concern, particularly for international guests.
For some, Casino Pécs offers a pleasant environment with efficient services:
However, several significant issues have been raised by visitors, which prospective guests, especially tourists, should be aware of:
A primary hurdle for many is the casino's stringent entry policy. One tourist noted being denied entry due to the requirement for "Hungarian proof of residency." This policy poses a significant barrier for international travelers or non-residents hoping to enjoy the casino's offerings.
The dress code at Casino Pécs is frequently mentioned as being "way more strict even compared to Las Vegas group in Budapest, or Casino Win in Gyor." Visitors are advised to consider their attire carefully, as more casual wear accepted in other major European casinos may not be permitted here.
One review highlighted an uncomfortable incident where "2 young staff suddenly started to laugh once they saw us Japanese group." Such reports raise questions about the professionalism and inclusivity of the staff, leading one reviewer to strongly recommend tourists and local Asians to visit other casinos in the region.
Several operational aspects and pricing strategies have drawn criticism:
While subjective and not officially verifiable, one visitor claimed "the winning percentage it's under 1%," which contributed to their "overall bad experience."
Casino Pécs appears to offer a stylish and clean gaming environment with efficient service and payouts, which are its primary strengths. However, the experience is significantly impacted by its restrictive entry requirements (especially for non-residents), a notably strict dress code, and negative reports concerning staff behavior and amenities like non-complimentary, expensive drinks and an uncomfortable smoking area. Prospective visitors, particularly those from outside Hungary, are strongly advised to confirm the latest entry requirements and dress code in advance to avoid disappointment. Considering the reported issues, some may find alternative gaming venues a more hospitable choice.
They have pretty nice service, 2 youngstaff suddenly started to laugh once they saw us Japanese group. Also they have strict dress code, way more strict even compared to Las Vegas group in Budapest, or Casino Win in Gyor. So funny why in Pecs🤣I would strongly recommend tourist or local Asians to visit other casino😌
Here on Holiday in Pècs, excited to visit the Casino but need Hungarian proof of residency to be let in.
They take unwillingly your coat and your purse at the entrance...and they put you outside in the cold to smoke a cigarette...they have heat lamps but they keep them off because the electricity its probably expensive and they can't afford it. No complimentary drinks , on the contrary the drinks are more expensive than in the store...the winning percentage it's under 1%.... overall bad experience. I personally don't reccomend
Nice and clean, good service! I will come back.... i was lucky today, fast payout service.
