I vaguely remember I went to the Star Leisure for the first time in 2000 with my school when I was 10 years old.I've been there about many times. I used to find it entertaining when I was a kid and teenager but now I find it absolutely rubbish. That's why I don't go there anymore. It used to have a fast-food restaurant and the food was nice. It's a shame that they don't have a restaurant anymore. I don't know why they removed the restaurant from the same place. I kinda missed its old look. It can be real waste of money indeed.I missed its old look and I missed the old days of visiting the Star Leisure as well.On Sunday the 28th July 2024, it was my last time to visit the Star Leisure so I am not going there again ever.It's a shame that Dawson's Amusements is now defunct and it has been replaced by car park after its demolition. I used to go to Dawson's when I was a kid and I used to go on the dodgems, ghost train and the roundabout đ as well. It closed down in 2006. Maybe they went into liquidation or there was a dwindling number of visitors. Anyway Dawson's wasn't great for myself either.If you're reading this, avoid the Star Leisure. Go to Bray Bowl or Leisureplex instead.
amazing value for money, really nice and smiling staff. Spotless place, clean rooms, comfy beds, good shower (no electric shower thanks God) :-) Nice breakfast freshly prepared. very close to the main restaurants/pubs in Kinvara, 50 minutes from the Cliffs of Moher we'll definitively visit this place again.
Just a miserable depressing place it honestly feels like purgatory or some sort of joyless limbo, just avoid believe me there is nothing here in this place to entertain or of value to anyone ever!! you may as well just feed your money into a shredder
