The 英皇宮殿娛樂場, also known as the Grand Emperor Palace Casino, stands in the vibrant ZAPE district of Macau Peninsula, offering visitors a blend of gaming, dining, and hospitality. Based on recent guest feedback, experiences here can vary significantly, ranging from highly positive remarks about its culinary offerings and attentive staff to criticisms regarding its casino floor and shopping options.
For a venue primarily designated as a casino, the gaming experience at Grand Emperor Palace receives mixed reviews. Some visitors found the casino floor to be "underwhelming" and noted that there were "no many choice of gambling", suggesting a more limited selection compared to other Macau establishments. There's also a sentiment that it feels like an "old casino", which might imply a need for modernization or a less vibrant atmosphere for some patrons.
One aspect that consistently garners praise is the dining experience available within the establishment. Guests have raved about the food, particularly highlighting the exceptional quality of Chinese cuisine.
This suggests that while the gaming might not impress everyone, the culinary offerings present a strong reason to visit.
The quality of service at the Grand Emperor Palace appears to be a point of divergence among reviewers. While some guests experienced less than satisfactory interactions, with one stating hotel staff were "not really good", others had overwhelmingly positive encounters.
Positive feedback highlighted "Service well done" and commended that "Hotel staffs r good at their job". One review even enthusiastically stated, "Everything is possible with the staff help," indicating a high level of helpfulness and efficiency from the best of the team.
Beyond the casino, the associated mall connected to the Grand Emperor Palace tends to be a point of contention for some travelers. Reviews indicate that the mall is "basically just full of overpriced designer brands", which might not appeal to all visitors, especially those seeking unique or more accessible shopping experiences. For those not interested in luxury shopping, this aspect might be considered "not for my type of travelling."
Despite the mixed reviews on other aspects, the location of the Grand Emperor Palace in Macau's ZAPE district is generally considered a strong advantage. One review simply states, "Location is good too," suggesting its convenient placement for exploring the city.
The 英皇宮殿娛樂場 offers a varied experience. While the casino floor might feel dated and limited in choices for seasoned gamblers, the establishment truly shines in its dining options, particularly the highly praised Chinese cuisine. The quality of staff service can be inconsistent but, at its best, is highly commendable. The attached shopping mall primarily caters to a luxury clientele. If you're visiting for an exceptional meal and appreciate attentive service, Grand Emperor Palace might be worth a visit. However, if your primary interest is a cutting-edge or extensive casino experience, you might find it to be less captivating than other modern venues in Macau.
Tasty dim sum, had own booth for more privacy. Drooling BBQ pig served hot with small candles burning to keep it warm. For desserts, recommended the almond soup, claimed being grinded by themselves and was proven smooth and tasty, simply outstanding.
No many choice of gambling on casino. This is old casino.Hotel staff also not really good
Went to see the casino... underwhelming. The mall was basically just full of overpriced designer brands. You can get those brands anywhere else. Not for my type of travelling.
Hotel staffs r good at their job. Everything is possible with the staff help. Location is good too.
