Latest update (23/03/25)When I wrote this review a year ago, I expected some changes but it never happen, again very dissapointed that nothing to the unpleasantness as ultered by a season gambler that needs everyone's attention to the truth presented by her. Her dissatisfaction arises from the poor service rendered. She pointed out the services is getting from bad to worst. She loudly quoted several examples to attract attention 1) shortage of manpower - with the much improve gambling tables at the gold card casino, I see alot of empty tables on a weekend, why, it is because of poor services people are not coming mainly due to the shortages of manpower 2) very lack of cashiers with only one counter open and a long queue waiting in line to cash out, this is not welcome and not happening in other countries casino 3) facilities for gamblers have only one praise to the management that's enforcing the no smoking area by providing a smoking lounge 4) poor refreshment facilities provided, people are making comparison with the Old Genting managed by the late TS LGT compared to his son TS LKT, the only nasty word can be heard is they're greedy and stingy.One lady said she has been a patron since the 80s but never felt valued even millions has been poured into the casino. At least she said some good words about LGT and cursed the present management for such poor showing, no body seems to enjoy the atmosphere now filled with rudely and mischievous China gamblers. The present set of people running Genting seems more interested in Profit and couldn't care less about services.Well, I strongly suggest to the Government to close the casino for good for the betterment and the prosperity of its people. The government has to activate the initiative to achieve world recognition as a Muslim country. They even hired young girls dressed in striking red garments to attract gamblers. Among the many casinos I have been to, the staff here displays rude and impolite attitude towards customers.The amenities here are rubbish sort to say, the management doesn't bother about services, they're only interested about going after your monies. Don't believe me, go and feel for yourself the types of entertainment it offers. It doesn't deserve the word 'standout destination', people going there are those die hard gamblers seeking a quick relief for their addiction, nothing premier to shout about.If you're one of those gambling junkies then good luck to you.
With all due respect, I hope the Genting Management should look into your security checking services. Genting Highland is a well known landmark in Malaysia yet it has many foreign tourist visited this place every year. If you are don’t feel convenient to explain all the rules to enter the casino, at least you should provide a signboard with a more friendly tone, not showing a rudeness which can affect your reputation.

One of the worst experiences on my travels.Sky Casino is awful, you have to wait ages just to get a membership card, no one helps you - stay well away from here and spend your time and the fun attractions and food halls, not sure how this resort is well renowned for being good - the set up for membership is shocking and the owners need to fix this. Absolutely awfulOn every self service check out you get this, so you have to wait to see a person on a counter which takes hoursThe facilities are absolutely disgusting too, toilets don’t work or are dirty just disgusting.It took near two hours to get a membership appointment, utter shambles of an organisation
