Located in the vibrant city of Guadalajara, Mexico, Casino Life offers a distinctive gambling experience that sets it apart from many international counterparts. While it maintains the core excitement of a casino, visitors will encounter unique operational aspects that contribute to a memorable, and largely positive, visit.
One of the most notable differences at Casino Life, particularly for those accustomed to US casinos, is the money handling system for slot machines. Instead of direct cash insertion, patrons interact with a hostess who credits the machine after a tax deduction. Similarly, any winnings are subject to further taxation upon cash-out at the cashier. Despite this administrative difference, reviewers found the process to be "fun way to spend an hour or two" and "pretty entertaining."
Another point of discussion among visitors is the casino's smoking policy, where smoking inside is allowed. This may be a drawback for non-smokers but is consistent with some local customs.
The casino boasts a commendable variety of gaming options:
The slot machine area is frequently praised for being very spacious, offering a good environment, and featuring a great variety of machines. This creates a comfortable and engaging setting for slot enthusiasts.
For those who prefer table games, Casino Life provides "more variety... to keep you entertained." However, some visitors note a desire for more open tables, suggesting that for the size of the venue, at least two tables per game would be beneficial. The music in the table games area has been described as "too loud" and limited to "just a specific genre," which might not suit everyone's taste.
The poker room has undergone significant positive changes, with reviewers highlighting great improvements attributed to new management.
Visitors can enjoy food and drinks inside the casino. Recent reviews indicate that the food quality is "much better" than in previous years, accompanied by good service. This makes for a more complete entertainment package.
Additionally, the casino offers a free membership, which can enhance the overall experience.
Casino Life Guadalajara stands out as a solid choice for entertainment in the city. Its unique operational aspects, particularly the money handling, add a local flavor to the experience. The casino excels in its spacious and varied slots section and has made significant strides in food quality, service, and the poker room. While there's room for improvement in table game availability and music ambience in certain areas, the consensus points to an entertaining and worthwhile visit for those looking to try their luck in Guadalajara.
Fun way to spend an hour or two. Totally different from the US. You don't put the money into the slot machine yourself. There's a hostess that you give your money to and after they tax your money, she credits the machine with the rest. If you're lucky enough to win anything, you get taxed again from the cashier when you cash out. Overall, pretty entertaining.
Good Casino in Guadalajara, we can get food and drinks inside.. Take membership free and enjoy...
Reviewing after a couple of years, food is much better with good service, still don't have my preferred game (Mississippi stud) but have more variety of table games to keep you entertained. Music is too loud and just a specific genre not much to my liking. I'm talking just about the table games area, the slots machines area is much different, very spacious, good environment and great machines variety.
Poker room has improved greatly with new management, unfortunately due to covid they 5 are shutting down at 2 am. Smoking inside is allowed, that's the only other bad thing now.
Let's tables open, for the size of the place they should be able to open up at least two tables for each game!!
