I enjoy circus casino. The service can be slow sometimes, but it’s generally because they are so busy. I’ve had some good wins and a fun time playing. It can be smokey inside but I don’t mind since I smoke. Overall I’ll keep coming back as I enjoy my time there.
If you go in the afternoon, there are very few waiters and you have to track down a credit person to put money on your card. It seems like they are seriously understaffed. And the machine are SUPER tight. Impossible to play for any length of time. Don’t waste your time and your money going there. There are seven casinos in Mérida that I know of. All are better than Circus.
We went to the casino not to gamble, but to try out their lunch BUFFET.😁 For $120 you will get a selection of your choice from the buffet incl. soup, main, dessert and selected beverages. Beware that this buffet is no self-service, but you'll receive a little sheet of paper upon arrival where you select which dishes you want, and then the waiter will plate it up and serve it to you. Being a VEGETARIAN, I was happy that there were more than enough options for me. I ended up having an artichoke soup, and pasta, mashed potatoes, rice, beans and stir-fried veggies as my main, and some coconut dessert. Everything was delicious and I was more than full after the meal. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. And value for your money is very good in my opinion. RECOMMENDED! 👍

Host and waitstaff were super nice, helpful and stopped by our table frequently to check on us. The selection was not extensive, but everything was fresh and tasty. There was scrambled eggs, sausage, fruits, chilaquiles, yogurt, and granola. Juice and coffee are included. Make sure to get there earlier (starts at 8 am) than later since it fills up fast.
