Casino Red

Located in the vibrant city of Monterrey, Mexico, Casino Red presents itself as a destination for gambling enthusiasts. However, user reviews paint a mixed, predominantly cautious, picture of the establishment, highlighting several key areas for potential visitors to consider.

The Gambling Experience: Odds & Payouts πŸ“‰

The most recurring theme in player feedback revolves around the perceived difficulty of winning at Casino Red. Multiple patrons expressed significant losses, with one frequent visitor claiming to have lost at least $4,500 MXN on each of six visits, spending a minimum of 7 hours per session on various tables. This individual, alongside others, noted that very few players (reportedly 2 or 3 out of over 50) were ever observed leaving with winnings. Another reviewer bluntly stated, "this is the worst paying casino I've been to," after neither they nor their companions managed to recover their initial stakes. If the primary goal is to win, Casino Red appears to offer a challenging environment, leading many to label it a "loosing casino."

Atmosphere & Facilities: Smoke, Size, and Spiritual Concerns 🌬️🚽

  • Air Quality & Smoking: A significant concern raised by a long-term player is the reported practice of switching off the air conditioning at night. This practice leads to a heavily smoke-filled environment, which was described as potentially "kill[ing] you if the casino doesn't take all your money before your death." This suggests a poor ventilation system, especially for non-smokers or those sensitive to smoke.
  • Size & Busyness: Some reviews describe the casino as "Small" and "Busy," which could imply a crowded or less spacious gaming floor.
  • Cleanliness: While one reviewer noted generally "good attention," they also highlighted a need for improvement in restroom cleanliness, stating they were "somewhat dirty."
  • Unusual Decor: A particularly strong and unique point of criticism from one reviewer was the presence of an "evil Chinese idol/god in the middle of the casino." This individual, having gambled globally including Macau, found this display highly unusual and attributed the casino's high loss rate to it, describing it as "PURE EVIL AND SATANIC/VOODOO." While this is a highly subjective and unique observation, it reflects one patron's strong negative impression of the ambiance.

Staff & Service: Mixed Impressions πŸ‘₯

Opinions on staff conduct are somewhat divided. One review mentioned "good attention" overall. However, another highly critical review specifically called out the female dealers as being "ILL MANNERED to foreigners especially." This suggests potential inconsistencies in customer service, particularly for international visitors. The same reviewer also commented on the dealers' appearance, though such subjective observations are less relevant to service quality.

Cost & Value: Beyond the Winnings πŸ’Έ

Beyond the gambling outcomes, one review noted that patrons "Had to Pay for beer," which can be a turn-off for those accustomed to complimentary beverages often found in other casinos. One highly critical reviewer, despite their strong negative experience with winning, suggested that if one must visit, it's best to "enjoy the 24 hours drinking" and limit gambling to a maximum of $1000-1500 MXN, implying that the free drinks might be the only tangible "win" for many.

Overall Recommendation πŸ€”

Based on aggregated user feedback, Casino Red in Monterrey appears to be a challenging venue for players hoping to win. The consistent reports of significant losses, coupled with concerns about air quality, cleanliness, and occasional ill-mannered staff, paint a less-than-ideal picture. While one reviewer briefly mentioned "much fun" and another acknowledged "good attention," these positive notes are largely overshadowed by the widespread frustration regarding payouts and environmental issues. Visitors are advised to manage their expectations regarding winnings and potentially consider it more as a social venue for drinks with a strict budget, rather than a place to try their luck at significant gains.

I have been to this casino six times. And in those times I left loosing at least $4,500MX on each visit. When I have been there, I have played a minimum of 7 hours on all the tables except roulette. In the times I have been there, I have only ever seen 2 or 3 players maximum out of over 50 players leave winning. This is a loosing casino. Don't let the only female dealers fool you. They are mostly UGLY anyway and ILL MANNERED to foreigners especially. Also the casino is a shrine with an evil Chinese idol/ god in the middle of the casino. I have gambled ALL AROUND THE WORLD including Macau, which is the only legal place under Chinese government that you can gamble and I have never seen a Chinese idol god in the middle of the casino. PURE EVIL AND SATANIC/ VOODOO. I believe this is also why 9 out of 10 customers loose here. My advice, do not go here. And if you do go, enjoy the 24 hours drinking and only gamble a maximum of 1000-1500 MX. No more. This is the only casino in Monterrey I have been to that I lost every single time. In addition, at night they switch off the air conditioner, so the smoke from cigarettes will kill you if the casino doesn't take all your money before your death.
