Yes, they take a (very small) tax, but I started with ($100 U.S.) I spent over an hour and a half playing blackjack and roulette. I was up and down as expected. Ultimately, i walked out without a win. Had a great time, the staff was very friendly with the personalities and offering drinks. I will definitely come back and have some more fun here! Small casino but the staff is super nice. I was pleasantly surprised to find a roulette and blackjack table in the back so they do have table games if any one wondering. You do have to bet in pesos but it does not take long to figure out what you are doing. I had a great time and walked out with a few hundred bucks.

I prefer machines with reels and there are only a few. The reel machines were 5 peso machines but for one spin you bet 30 lines or 150 pesos. Around $7.50 usd per push. There was no English translation on machine I played but I used my phone translator to figure out what each button did. Like cruise ships, you get a card and put money on it. No paper tickets to keep up with, just a card. Very Covid conscious. Never handed ID or card directly to person. Always put on tray with disinfectant cloth so they could wipe it before touching. Handed back the same way. Not crowded at all. Fairly dark inside.
So we go in and get a card and put $100. On the card. We find a machine to play and stick our card in and use our translator to figure out the money showing on our account and it way $82.00. So we ask the cashier what was going on, that we gave her $100. She said it was a tax…. We are not use to paying a tax on our money before we even get started playing and isn’t 18% crazy. So I got my money back. I won’t be going back here again. That’s an $18.00 lost before you even get started. No no no… that’s crazy
