Located in the charming city of Leeuwarden, Kooistra's Amusementsbedrijf B.V. presents itself as a unique entertainment venue. While officially categorized as a "casino," user reviews strongly indicate that this establishment functions more akin to an amusement arcade or family entertainment center, primarily catering to children and families looking for a fun time with games and prizes.
Kooistra's Amusementsbedrijf elicits a wide range of opinions from its visitors. It's often praised as a wonderful place for children to enjoy various games and for providing good entertainment. However, a recurring theme among reviews highlights significant concerns regarding the value for money and the perceived fairness of the prize redemption system. The overall sentiment suggests that while the excitement factor for kids is high, parents may find the experience expensive for the rewards received.
Kooistra's Amusementsbedrijf B.V. can be a source of genuine excitement and entertainment for children, offering a classic arcade experience in Leeuwarden. The friendly demeanor of the owner is a definite plus. However, potential visitors, especially those managing a budget, should be aware of the prevalent feedback regarding the poor value for money in terms of prize redemption. If the primary goal is simply to enjoy the act of playing games and the thrill for kids, without strong expectations of winning substantial prizes, it could be a pleasant visit. For those hoping to "win" or get a good return on their investment, the experience may lead to disappointment.
If you're looking for an arcade where the focus is solely on the joy of playing and less on the tangible rewards, Kooistra's offers that. However, be prepared that the journey to a coveted prize might be a costly one.
Wonderful place, the owner is very nice and helpful. It is a good way to spend some time with the kids playing games etc.
Fun games, but a little outdated. The prices are ridiculously low quality.Pretty much no Covid19 regulations, impossible to keep the 1.5m distance. Be careful.
Nice place for children. Enjoy a bit of gaming/playing games. You don't really win. The amount of points you get is not in proportion to the amount of money you throw in. But the excitement for kids is great and so is the entertainment.
The only games where you could win small tickets was the game where you had to throw in 20 cents. You could hardly score any points in real games such as basketball or throwing balls. My conclusion was that after spending 40 euros I walked away with more than a snow globe and 3 sweets
What a bad thing this is!!Really very misleading!! Children go with 30 euros and win a jar of slime and 2 lollipops, the gift they wanted, a fun water lighter. THEY CAME SHORT OF 7 POINTS!! and did not receive them!!!Expensive and not friendlyIf you want to have fun on your vacation DON'T GO HERE!!!!!
