Casino Isla Guide and Review

Casino Isla, located in Tacna, Peru, offers a mixed experience for its patrons. Drawing from recent visitor feedback, the casino presents a unique blend of positive attributes, particularly concerning its service and ambiance, alongside notable areas for improvement, especially regarding its adherence to public health regulations and customer support during incidents.
Overall Atmosphere and Service ✨
Many visitors commend Casino Isla for its pleasant atmosphere, making it an enjoyable spot for those looking to try their luck on the machines. A consistent highlight across reviews is the quality of service. Staff members are frequently described as friendly, cordial, and attentive, contributing significantly to a positive experience. The venue is also noted for its cleanliness, which adds to the overall comfort, despite being described as relatively small in size.
Gaming and Entertainment 🥂
The casino boasts "nice coin machines," suggesting a decent selection for slot enthusiasts. Beyond the gaming itself, Casino Isla is praised for offering exquisite drinks and providing "the best entertainment," indicating an effort to create a holistic and engaging experience for its guests. This combination of good service, pleasant atmosphere, and additional amenities like drinks and entertainment are strong selling points for the establishment.
Key Concerns and Areas for Improvement 🌬️
Despite the positives, Casino Isla faces significant criticism in two primary areas. A major concern frequently raised is the pervasive issue of smoking inside the premises. Reviewers report that smoking occurs freely, and, crucially, that this practice goes unenforced despite Peruvian law prohibiting smoking in enclosed public spaces. This leads to a strong cigarette smell throughout the casino, which can be highly off-putting and raises health and legal compliance questions.
Another serious point of contention highlighted in a review pertains to the casino's handling of customer incidents. A visitor reported a distressing experience where a customer suffered an accident inside the casino, and the staff displayed "zero empathy in attention and Zero support." This feedback suggests a critical gap in emergency response and customer care protocols, which can severely impact a patron's sense of safety and trust in the venue.
Conclusion
Casino Isla in Tacna offers a generally pleasant environment for gaming, characterized by friendly service, a clean setting, and good entertainment options. However, its reputation is significantly marred by the persistent issue of unenforced smoking regulations and, concerningly, a reported lack of empathetic support during customer incidents. For potential visitors, the decision to visit may hinge on their tolerance for a smoke-filled environment and their expectations for comprehensive customer care. Addressing these critical areas would undoubtedly enhance Casino Isla's appeal and ensure a safer, more compliant experience for all.
It has nice coin machines, but all the place smells to cigarrettes and everybody is smoking freely, which is prohibited by law in Peru. Nobody says anything.
Good service. The place is small.Very friendly service, clean, and pleasant.
A pleasant atmosphere to go play the machines, always good service in this place.
I have to say that I was disappointed with the attention of your employees to a client who suffered an accident inside the casino. Zero empathy in attention and Zero support for an injured customer within the casino with a problem of theirs. I will never recommend it again in Chile.
