Located in the picturesque city of Espinho, Portugal, Casino Espinho serves as a central hub for entertainment and gaming. While some visitors have enjoyed their time here, recent feedback suggests a mixed bag of experiences, with several areas ripe for improvement.

The Gaming Experience 🎲

For those seeking a casual evening, the casino can be a "very nice" place to spend time, especially for tourists on vacation. The poker area is noted as being comfortable, and some visitors found the dealers to be decent, which is a significant plus for table game enthusiasts.

Points of Contention in Gaming:

  1. Limited Table Games & Features: Many players found the table games to be "absolutly boring," primarily due to a lack of bonus options or progressive bonuses. The number of available tables is also reported as "very limited."
  2. Poker Schedule: A recurring concern is that poker games only start at 8 PM nightly, including on weekends, which some find restrictive for a casino.
  3. Blackjack Rules & Perceived Fairness: One particularly strong negative review highlights significant frustration with what are described as "idiotic rules" for blackjack. A player recounted an incident where the dealer did not check for blackjack with an Ace showing, and later, despite the player achieving 21s, lost hands when the dealer revealed a 10 undercard (resulting in a dealer blackjack). This player felt these rules were a "disadvantage for the players" and "should be illegal," suggesting a perceived lack of fairness and a feeling of being taken advantage of.

Service & Staff Interaction πŸ‘₯

While the dealers generally receive positive mentions, the overall staff experience has been a point of concern for some. One user reported an astonishing incident where, after losing, a host allegedly asked them to pay for his meal. Furthermore, some visitors have described the staff as "soo rude and unwelcoming," leading to a highly negative impression.

Ambiance & Facilities πŸ•°οΈ

The casino's interior and facilities have drawn criticism for being "outdated" and "stuck in the past." A common complaint also revolves around the "very poor quality air movement," which can impact the comfort of guests.

Dining Options at Jokers Lounge πŸ”

The food available at Jokers Lounge has been described as merely "passable." Specific issues noted include:

  • A steak ordered "well done" being served "still pink inside."
  • The "Bond Burger" having "very little meat" and "LOTS of bun."
On a positive note, the fries were deemed good.

Final Thoughts ✨

Casino Espinho presents itself as a destination with potential, offering a comfortable poker area and decent dealers. However, it faces significant challenges regarding its gaming variety and rules, outdated facilities, air quality, and, most critically, staff conduct and perceived fairness. Prospective visitors, especially avid gamblers, might want to set expectations accordingly and consider if the current offerings align with their preferences. For a quick vacation stop, it might suffice, but those seeking a modern, diverse, and exceptionally fair gaming experience with top-tier service may find themselves looking elsewhere.

Tables Games at this Casino are absolutly boring, there are no bonus options or progressive bonus on any of them, and very limited tables! Poker only starts at 8pm every night which sounds reasonable on weekdays but on weekends as well? Casino Espinho can definitely do much better, it's a shame because the dealers are actually decent and the Poker area is comfortable

This is the worst casino I ever been too!! And I am an avid gambler! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!!Playing blackjack dealer got an ace showing I'm assuming she is gonna look at her down card to see if she has blackjack already but she doesn't so that was odd, so we proceed to play so they dealt me two aces so I obviously split the aces get another ace now I got 3 aces, first hand i get 14, second hand i get 21, third hand i get 21...now it's the dealers turn she flips her undercard and it's a 10...and they tell me I lose all 3 hands...wooooow. I never ever in my 20 plus years of playing blackjack ever heard of no idiotic rules like that. It's such a disadvantage for the players that it should be illegal!! They are taking advantage of the people, not fair at all!! I visited Sunday night may 18 2025. And on top of that after I lose the host asks me to pay for his meal! I was in complete awe! Casino regulators need to take a close look at what they are doing there! Absurd!! On top of that the staff is soo rude and unwelcoming. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

The Casino was fine, the food in the Jokers Lounge was "passable". I had a steak the first time. Asked for well done but had to send it back as it was still pink inside. Had the Bond Burger the second time. Very little meat. LOTS of bun. Fries were good.I didn't win 😒
