ADMIRAL Guide and Review

Located in Bratislava, Slovakia, ADMIRAL is primarily known as a casino. However, based on recent visitor feedback, its integrated cafe and bar services significantly shape the customer experience. Reviews paint a picture of extremes, with some patrons praising excellent service and others encountering highly problematic interactions.
The Good ๐
- Friendly and Accommodating Service: Some visitors have highlighted genuinely positive experiences with the staff. One review specifically praised "very good service," mentioning a "Bosse" (boss) who went out of their way to make space for luggage, fostering a "friendly and safe" atmosphere.
- Quality Beverages: For those looking for a casual drink, the bar area seems to have its merits. One visitor enthusiastically recalled enjoying a "best ever" draft beer.
Areas for Concern & Improvement ๐
A significant portion of the feedback points to serious issues, primarily related to management and service quality:
- Aggressive and Abusive Staff/Management: This is a recurring and alarming complaint. One review describes an incident involving a "fighter cock" staff member who "fought and abused" a customer over a teabag, leading to police intervention. This suggests a deeply concerning level of unprofessionalism.
- Lack of Price Transparency & Hidden Charges: Several customers reported issues with billing. Instances include managers quoting incorrect prices for items, menu items being unavailable, and even an "extra tip" being added to the bill without the customer's knowledge or consent. This raises concerns about honesty and ethical business practices.
- Strict and Unreasonable Rules: Visitors have noted a rigid adherence to rules, even when it negatively impacts the customer experience. Examples include being forbidden from drinking an outside coffee despite having ordered food from the establishment, or strict policies like "no children" and "no putting tables together." Such inflexibility can make the environment feel unwelcoming.
- Food Availability Issues: Beyond the service problems, some reviews mentioned that food items listed on the menu were simply not available, leading to frustration for those looking to dine.
Overall Impression
ADMIRAL presents a confusing dichotomy. While some individuals have experienced a positive, friendly, and accommodating environment, a substantial number of reviews detail severe issues with staff behavior, billing practices, and overly strict policies. These negative experiences, particularly those involving abuse and hidden charges, are significant red flags that potential visitors should be aware of.
If you're considering a visit to ADMIRAL, particularly for its cafe or bar services, it appears to be a gamble not just on the machines, but on the service you'll receive. It's advisable to proceed with caution and be vigilant regarding your bill and interactions with staff.
So I had this beer at this place and it was the best ever. How itโs called someone can helpMe please it was the draft one of 5 dollars
This is a horrible place , fighter cock, we ordered food for 35 Eurro, did not use his tea bag and used our own tea bag & requested extra cup for which he fought and abused saying dirty words and police officer came and told him to stay quiet. These obese guy was abuser.I donโt want to say but this place is not worth a visit
Very good service . My sister took a lot of suitcase ๏ผwaiting for me in this cafe .the Bosse move the space for us to put it in. Feel friendly and safe hier ๐๐
Terrible place. The manager didn't tell the right price of some items, food on the menu wasn't available, and he added an extra tip to the bill I wasn't aware of. Please avoid this outlet. For the proprietors: hire another outlet manager.
Ordered lunch. Manager saw my coffee from the Starbucks 10 feet away and said I couldn't drink it in his restaurant. I would completely get it if I were trying to sit there without buying anything, but I had literally just ordered food from him. The restaurant was almost entirely empty, too. Their strict rules and poor service don't seem to be unique to me: no children, no putting tables together, etc. No point in buying from them.
