Located in Pretoria, South Africa, MD Pub & Grill positions itself primarily as a casino, but its patrons experience it as a pub and grill. Customer feedback offers a diverse range of opinions, highlighting both its strengths as a local hangout and significant areas for improvement, particularly concerning service and inclusivity.
For some, MD Pub & Grill is a cherished spot, described as "always a great place to stop after work or during lunch." There's a strong sense of community, with one reviewer noting, "Everybody knows everyone there," suggesting a welcoming environment for regulars. Another enthusiastic patron simply states, "The best ever you won't regret â¤ī¸." This indicates that when the experience is positive, it's highly regarded.
However, a considerable portion of the feedback points to significant issues, primarily centered around service quality and staff conduct.
MD Pub & Grill appears to be a venue with a dual identity â a comfortable local for some and a source of frustration for others. While it clearly cultivates a sense of belonging for its regulars, the recurring complaints about poor service, lack of staff attentiveness, and particularly the allegation of racial discrimination are significant red flags. Potential visitors should be aware of this mixed feedback. For MD Pub & Grill, addressing these critical service and conduct issues, especially the serious claims of discrimination, would be crucial for fostering a consistently positive and inclusive environment for all patrons.

Always a great place to stop after work or during lunch. Everybody knows everyone there.
Kindly train the barman to stay focused on clients and not to be called for assistance, and not to hang around with his brothers the moment they walk in!
Had very bad service,no one served our table we had to get our drinks at the bar and we were given food menus but never got checked.....I'm never coming back here
