Absolutely incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch and the staff were warm and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated, and offered stunning views. There’s so much to do—from relaxing by the pool to exploring the resort’s many activities. Perfect getaway for couples or families. Highly recommended!
I hadn't been to Sun City for probably 30 years. I was amazed at how beautifully it is maintained. The Vacation Club units were clean and comfortable. The staff were so helpful and the grounds so well kept. There is so much to see and do there. We couldn't fit it all in. Valley of the Waves was so much more than I could have imagined. And having the game reserve at our doorstep was an added bonus.
The resort is amazing. The resort has so many activities, but you pay for them separately from the booking fee. The service was okay, the stuff is very friendly. However, you need to keep asking about things and locations and how all activities work. They should improve on giving all the details upon check-in to avoid going up and down the reception to ask more. Apart from that, it is very relaxing.
The trip was good and we drove for 2 hours and it was worth it.The monkeys wouldn't leave us alone but the valley of waves was extraordinary. My daughter said the way the wave was strong it took this other man so far that he banged against one of the rocks. However the receptionist did not tell us that we must bring back the valley of waves handband and the next day when we went to get more they told us to bring the ones from yesterday and they were in the trash can so we had to go back to the unit and dig into the trash can it was unacceptable we were so angry and unsatisfied about the service but I recommend going to Sun city again maybe they might change their attitude (service)
We had a great stay at Sun City Vacation Club in March 2025. We stayed in one of the newly renovated units at the Reserve. The unit was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well lit. Received great service from the cleaning staff. Our holiday was very relaxing. Sun City is great and has so much offer, and it's just a short 2-hour drive from Jhb. Awesome place to visit for a quick relaxing holiday. 👌
