Kangwon Land Casino

Nestled in the picturesque region of Jeongseon, South Korea, Kangwon Land Casino stands as a premier destination, renowned not only as the largest casino in the country but also as a sprawling integrated resort. While its primary allure is gaming, visitors consistently highlight its extensive facilities and natural surroundings, making it more than just a place to try your luck.

Location and Overview

Kangwon Land is situated in Jeongseon, Gangwon Province, offering a unique escape from the urban hustle. It functions as a comprehensive resort complex, providing a variety of amenities beyond its main casino floor. Visitors often praise it as a "very nice facility" and a "good place" for a getaway, indicating a generally positive first impression.

The Casino Experience

Entry & Access πŸ›‚

Accessing the casino floor at Kangwon Land comes with a notable requirement: an entrance fee of 10,000 Korean Won (approximately $9 USD). Furthermore, international visitors are advised to have their passport ready, as it is reportedly required for entry. This is an important detail to note for a smooth admission process.

Gaming Floor & Atmosphere 🎲

As the largest casino in Korea, Kangwon Land boasts an impressive selection of gaming options. Patrons can find "lots of slots and table games at all price levels," catering to both high rollers and casual players. A particularly intriguing observation from one visitor notes it as the "quietest Casino I have ever been in despite being packed," suggesting a unique and perhaps more subdued gaming environment compared to typical bustling casinos. However, some guests have mentioned that "drink service was a little hard to find," which could be an area for improvement for those seeking frequent refreshments.

Beyond the Gaming Floor

Kangwon Land extends its offerings far beyond gaming. The resort is home to an "excellent golf course," appealing to enthusiasts looking to combine their trip with a round or two. The aesthetics are also a strong point, with one reviewer highlighting that "the hotel garden is really nice." Overall, the resort is described as being "available with all facilities," ensuring a comprehensive experience for all guests, whether they are primarily there for the casino or to enjoy the broader resort amenities. Nice Casino but you better have your Passport to get a $9 ticket to get inside. Parking was horrible and crowded. Lots of slots and table games at all price levels. Drink service was a little hard to find. It is the quietest Casino I have ever been in despite being packed. I would go again..
