Seven Luck Casino Gangnam Coex, nestled within the bustling COEX complex in Seoul, South Korea, primarily caters to foreign visitors looking for a gambling experience. However, recent reviews paint a mixed picture, highlighting both its convenience and significant limitations.
One of the most frequently cited points in user reviews is the casino's small size. Many visitors expressed disappointment, describing it as "very small" and feeling "shame to call this place as a casino." This limited footprint contributes to an atmosphere that is often described as "quiet" and "does not feel like a typical casino." While some appreciate this as "not rowdy and easy going" for casual play, those seeking a vibrant, high-energy casino environment will likely find it underwhelming.
The game selection and the condition of the machines are significant areas of concern.
Overall, many sections of the casino's gaming floor were reported to be "closed," indicating limited operational capacity or reduced game offerings. This scarcity of options led some visitors to seek out other casinos in Seoul for more engaging gambling opportunities.
Opinions on staff hospitality are varied:
One reviewer noted that dealers and cashiers were "very pretty," adding a subjective positive note on the staff's appearance. However, the overall impression of hospitality ranged "between not bad and bad."
Seven Luck Casino does offer promotions, primarily aimed at tourists. "Free tourist coupons for 60,000W" were a draw for some, though it's important to note that these vouchers often come with restrictions, such as "50,000W is restricted to table games excluding blackjack" or "only for baccarat." A consistent positive mentioned was the availability of "Free beer and liquor," which enhanced the experience for some and even covered "K-ride expense to the other casino" for one group.
The casino's location inside COEX, specifically on the 3rd floor, is convenient for those already visiting the complex. This prime Gangnam location makes it easily accessible via public transport and is situated in a vibrant tourist area.
Seven Luck Casino Gangnam Coex appears to be best suited for:
It is not recommended for serious gamblers, those seeking a wide variety of modern games, or an energetic, full-scale casino experience. For a more comprehensive casino experience in Seoul, some reviewers suggest considering places like Walker Hill Casino instead.
Seven Luck Casino Gangnam Coex offers a compact and quiet gambling venue, primarily catering to foreign tourists with a focus on a limited selection of table games, particularly baccarat. While promotional vouchers and complimentary drinks are a plus, the dated slot machines, restricted game variety, and mixed staff hospitality can detract from the overall experience. If you're nearby and looking for a quick, low-key gamble or have a voucher to use, it might suffice. Otherwise, setting expectations appropriately for a smaller, more subdued casino is key.
1am. 2 blackjack tables only. Min 100k. Tq seven luck. Dealer very pretty. Cashier also pretty. Not the common lady at the street
Free tourist coupons for 60,000W brought us here.50,000W is restricted to table games excluding blackjack.Roulette is only digital now.50,000W voucher only for baccarat. We do not play this game and do not understand it's complexity. We bet on player, won, and left.We are going to other casino to lose the $500 we brought to gamble with because we found no interesting options to gamble.Thank you for the voucher. At least it covered the K-ride expense to the other casino.Free beer and liquor is how the 3 stars are earned. ***
staffs are not hospitable in the front desk. But F&B staffs are kind and i felt from them welcoming. Table game dealer and managers are fine. Entirely, staff hospitality is between not bad and bad.The size of casino is very small. I feel shame to call this place as a casino. I am disappointed. The slot machine also very old even though there are some new slot machine. ( 80% old / 20% new - and slot machine numbers are around 80 machines -- i was in main floor so i don't have any info regarding vip area.)I don't recommend this place to enjoy in casino.I think walker hill casino is much better if you must try casio in Seoul.
Located inside coex (3rd floor iirc). The place is quiet it does not feel like a typical casino. Slot machines were dated, and a few were under maintenance. Machines are muted. Only foreigners on table games, and most sections were closed. Did not take photos.
