Gran Madrid Casino Colón presents a mixed bag based on recent user experiences. While some visitors have enjoyed their time and found the minimums reasonable, the most recent and detailed reviews raise significant red flags regarding game integrity—specifically with electronic roulette and card shuffling procedures. The reported lack of staff engagement and an unwelcoming atmosphere further detract from the experience for many.
Prospective visitors, especially those experienced in casino environments, are advised to proceed with caution and be mindful of the concerns raised about game fairness and transparency before committing their funds. It is recommended to observe the games closely and consider the atmosphere before engaging in high-stakes play.
My friend and I were playing slots on the bottom floor and I tried to order a coffee through the waitress, one of the waitresses who was short and had short hair said "un momento" and then she started chatting with another colleague, I waited for a long time and she never came over again, and I didn't bother her, and finally we stopped playing the game ourselves and went to the the bar to order coffee.
I have been in many casinos all over the world. (Monaco,Barcelona, Latvia , Estonia, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Georgia , Turkish side of Cyprus, Germany, Holland, Singapour and many other countries and cities)It is the worst casino I have ever been.Staffs are bad. Roullete is very strange.Atmosphere is dark and cold.In short it is very bad.
Been here watching etc for a few nights. The roulette wheels are fully electronically controlled. The one live wheel on the display computer especially. Watched the live ones for a a short while. The bounce and everything about them isn't natural. Stay away. Don't waste ur money here.
I went from 10 to 60€ for my first time. Nice trip there while visiting from Germany. Would definitely recommend! Also the bar was really nice.
The casino is not a warm and friendly place. The dealers did not speak to players or interact. What’s most worrying is that I was on a $10EU minimum table with an automatic shuffler. While the game was in play, I noticed that the shuffle machine spit out red and black cards. While I’m not accusing the casino of cheating, I have to say that this was very abnormal according to casino standards.I was in the casino table games industry for over 19 years, and this is not a practice that would normally be acceptable.A auto shuffle machine holds 4-6 decks of cards. After each hand is dealt, the dealer pays or takes bets as expected and puts the discards back into the machine. In the casino industry, you should never see more than one color backing of cards on a table, if it’s a continuous shuffle machine. If this occurs, it should raise red flags, and the game should stop. When I noticed the issue, the dealer disregarded it as if it was standard operation and no supervisor or Pitt Boss was called to explain what was going on. (Basically I was ignored although I had alerted other players to the problem.)When there is an issue, which as a player you are allowed to see the transparency of the table games as humans do make mistakes, and that is the reason why you have the eye in the sky.Their job is to protect players fromIrregularities for players as well as casinos. If something is not accurate, they are supposed to respond impartially. For ME, this experience was handled improperly, and I would think twice before gambling in this particular casino again.I worked in Las Vegas for many years and opened multiple casinos. Again, not accusing, but something doesn’t add up.
