Located in the heart of Seville, Círculo Unión Olivarense presents itself as more than just a typical establishment. While its primary type might be listed as a casino, user reviews reveal it functions predominantly as a private members' club, offering a delightful gastronomic experience and a social hub, with a charming terrace. It's nestled within the historic environs of the Plaza de España, annexed to the Town Hall, occupying rooms that were once part of the grand Palace of the Count-Duke of Olivares. This rich historical setting adds significantly to its appeal.
Many visitors praise the wonderful atmosphere of Círculo Unión Olivarense, particularly enjoying its terrace. As noted by one reviewer, it operates as a members' club, though some have successfully visited without being members, implying a degree of accessibility or guest policy. The location itself, within a historical palace, imbues the place with a unique and elegant ambiance.
The culinary offerings at Círculo Unión Olivarense receive high praise from several patrons, particularly for its breakfast and tapas.
The feedback on service at Círculo Unión Olivarense is notably polarized.
This stark contrast in service experiences suggests that while most visits are positive, there might be inconsistencies or specific policies that can lead to extremely poor interactions, particularly concerning take-away orders or accessibility.
Círculo Unión Olivarense appears to be a charming and historically rich establishment in Seville, offering quality food and a pleasant atmosphere for its members and guests. Its strong points are its beautiful location, delicious and affordable cuisine, and generally excellent service for those dining in. However, the singular but impactful negative review regarding poor treatment and refusal of service for a take-away order, especially involving a person with a disability, highlights a critical area for potential improvement in customer service consistency and policy communication. For most, it seems to offer a delightful experience, but potential visitors should be aware of the varied service reports.
It is a club for members, although we were not members. It is located in the Plaza de España, annexed to the Town Hall, in rooms that were part of the Palace of the Count-Duke of Olivares.
I usually go to have tapas or have a beer on the terrace and apart from the fact that it is wonderful, the service is always splendid. Closeness, kindness and agility. One of the best places in Olivares currently to have a drink!!
Very good cuisine, excellent service; The breakfasts are spectacular, very good bread from olive groves and their fried fish is great, with a great presentation, to repeat without a doubt.
Very good breakfast, very affordable and good tapas, I will definitely go again
Terrible treatment, I went with my cousin who has a disability to order a soft drink and a packet of chips to take away, the waiter treated us like we were sick and told us that he wouldn't sell it to us because they only served the tables that were seated... a shame . We had to ask for the complaints book and everything... I will never return to this site nor recommend it. 0%
