Areas for Consideration 🤔
Despite the overwhelmingly positive feedback, a few minor points of concern have been raised by some guests:
- Parking Fee: A daily parking fee of €20 was considered excessive by one guest, particularly for a 4-star establishment.
- Room Temperature Control: Some guests found their rooms uncomfortably warm (e.g., reaching 27.5°C), and even after requesting adjustments, the temperature remained higher than desired. While reception staff can moderate central heating, this was a point of discomfort for a few.
- Specific Room & Bedding Issues: One review noted visible dust in the room, and expressed frustration over receiving two separate beds instead of a booked queen bed. The bedding, described as a "duvet sandwiched between two sheets," was found to be "awkward and not cozy." Minor amenities like broken hangers were also mentioned.
- Shower Functionality: The shower was described by one guest as "just adequate," suggesting it was functional but not exceptional.

Stayed here for one night on our way to Almeria. Location was perfect, right opposite the Cathedral and near some lovely little cocktail bars. Room was modern and clean and the large terrace balcony was great for some afternoon sun!

The breakfast offering was both abundant and of exceptional quality, with a variety of fresh and delicious options catering to diverse tastes. As frequent visitors to Murcia and its many hotels, we are delighted to declare the Rincón our new favorite. Its combination of outstanding service, comfortable accommodations, and superb amenities make it stand out among the rest. We are already eagerly planning our return visit and look forward to experiencing the same flawless, stress-free hospitality that made this staycation so memorable. We honestly cannot think of a single suggestion for improvement—everything was simply perfect.
For personal reasons, we could not stay at this hotel as planned. I contacted the hotel directly, and one of their team members (Lucía) was very responsive and supportive. We can't wait to stay in the hotel in the future, as many of our friends have told us how great it is and the service is clearly excellent.
Wouldn't call it a real 4-Star hotel. Our stay at Rincon de Pepe had its ups and downs. Let’s start with the positives: the staff was friendly and welcoming, the location of the hotel is excellent, and the price initially seemed reasonable. We also appreciated that we were allowed to check in earlier than the official check-in time. However, there were several drawbacks that impacted our experience:1. Parking Fee: Charging €20 per day for parking at a 4-star hotel feels excessive.2. Room Temperature: The room was uncomfortably hot at 27.5°C. Despite requesting a temperature adjustment, it only went down to 25°C, which wasn’t much better. Thankfully, opening the window helped somewhat.3. Cleanliness: The room wasn’t as clean as expected. There was visible dust everywhere, which was disappointing.4. Bed Issue: We booked a queen bed but were given two separate beds instead, which was frustrating.5.Uncomfortable Bedding: The blankets were extremely uncomfortable—a duvet sandwiched between two sheets, which made it feel awkward and not cozy at all.6. Shower and Amenities: The shower was just adequate—not great, but functional. Additionally, the hangers in the closet were broken, which felt like an unnecessary oversight.Overall, while the hotel has some strong points, these issues made our stay less enjoyable than it could have been. Addressing these concerns would go a long way in enhancing the guest experience.
Bang in the centre of Murcia, close to underground car parks, this must be the most convenient hotel to access almost everywhere central in MurciaThe room we had was huge! Decorated to a high standard, a very good sized bathroom with all amenities, spotlessly clean and comfortable beds. What more could anyone want?At the reception desk, the staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much for them, making us feel very welcome. If you find the central heating a little too warm, the reception staff will moderate it for you!The ," Barra" is a great watering hole, and a wonderful venue to watch the world go by.On checking out we learned that a renovation program is underway with the 2nd floor rooms already completed. Based on the outstanding condition of our 4th floor room, I am left with the impression that this hotel is aiming for the sky - and will get there!
