Alea Casino in Glasgow stands out as a well-rounded entertainment venue. It offers a broad spectrum of gaming, complemented by a highly-regarded restaurant with scenic views, friendly and attentive staff, and additional recreational facilities. While some specific gaming rules or instances of manual shuffling in poker have drawn minor criticism, the overall consensus points to Alea Casino being a gem of a gaming facility and a worthwhile destination for a night out in Glasgow.
My friend and I visited here during a long weekend to Glasgow. Nice casino with pool tables and dart boards down stairs. A lot of poker tables downstairs as well. They had a couple blackjack tables playing 6to5 for blackjack. The tables use shuffling machines which is more and more common now. Some roulette tables and a large number of roulette machines and slots. Drinks were a reasonable price for a casino with friendly staff. You could smoke outside on the balcony which has good views
Great meal prior to visiting nearby music venue.Ample parking.Waterfront Restaurant is upstairs with a great view over the River Clyde looking towards the squinty bridge.Attentive staff.Highly recommend.
An absolutely amazing experience within a gem of gaming facility. The gaming floor is open plan and lots of different area to sit and chill or have meal and get back down to playing on the machines. The staff are very friendly from coming into the reception to going upstairs to meet the staff on the gaming floor. It is well worth a visit especially if your looking to have special night out.
My first visit here was delightful. I was attending a party in their function hire room. The bar, food and drink menu and bar servers were all very impressive. Especially Louis and Dimos making cocktails and serving drinks. Couldn't have asked for better servers.
Played in a "tournament" but the dealer was also a player, and suspiciously enough , he was getting the best hands too, couple of pocket aces , full house , twice , and many more great hands. He didn't even use an automatic card shuffler. Just a shuffle on the ground and with a hand shuffle. I've seen many card sharks who can easily cheat even with a casino shuffle. I highly suggest not playing here. It didn't seem fair. I will not trust any casino that doesn't use an automatic card shuffler
