I visited one evening in July 2023. It was not a particularly warm day, yet the casino inside was very warm and quite uncomfortable, even just sitting down! There did not appear to be any air conditioning as there were lots of large, portable industrial fans scattered around.The food was very good value for money and the turnaround was very fast. The quality is similar to what you'd get from a chain like Wetherspoons or a Greene King pub, satisfactory.All of the staff I encountered gave good service, some of the bar staff were excellent, especially considering the temperature!The venue was clean and tidy, plenty of shiny new machines to play on and "real" roulette and blackjack tables.
My husband and I have returned for a drink here at the casino after a couple of years. There have been some changes - mainly the removal of the dress code which we noticed straight away. I’m hoping some sort of dress code returns - shame to see people in flip flops and sliders at the bar. The cocktails are still GREAT and the staff are still attentive. We had a lovely evening as we have before - drink and a catch up, no gambling.
Had a great evening meal here, the service from Casey was great who also made a Banging Long Island Ice Tea, good amount of casino games!
