Admiral Casino in Chesterfield presents a somewhat mixed, yet predominantly negative, experience according to recent customer feedback. While some visitors have highlighted positives like a "nice set up" and friendly staff, a significant number of detailed reviews point towards substantial issues, particularly concerning customer service and staff professionalism. It's important to note that many of the criticisms appear to be specific to this Chesterfield branch, with other Admiral locations receiving more positive mentions.
This is by far the most frequently raised concern. Several patrons report a severe lack of basic customer service:
While Admiral Casino in Chesterfield does offer standard gaming machines and a few positive aspects like free drinks, the recurring and detailed complaints about poor customer service, staff attitude, and operational inconsistencies are a significant deterrent. It appears that the experience can be quite frustrating for new or less frequent visitors due to perceived favoritism and unhelpful staff interactions.
If you are considering visiting Admiral Casino in Chesterfield, be prepared for a potentially unwelcoming atmosphere and a hands-off approach from staff, especially during the day. Based on user feedback, if you are seeking a more positive and customer-friendly slot gaming experience in Chesterfield, alternative venues like Crown or Merkur might be a more hospitable choice. However, some long-standing patrons have found positive aspects and continue to visit, indicating experiences may vary.
Rude staff with 0 customer service at all.Never ever get welcomed unless you say hello first, very very rarely offered a drink or even the notion of the promotions even when tournaments are on. They have snacks which never get offered at all.Clearly have their ‘favourite’ customers and treat others extremely differently. Any prize draws you can almost guarantee one of the same regulars will win it without a doubt.Got a problem with a machine too, you’re immediately made to feel as though it’s your fault that the machines swallowed your money and not credited. Staff make it a problem and are rude about it. Cash match sent to you by text you get made to feel bad for asking for it because you’ve caused them some work. All they do is stand in the same spot all day staring at you like you’ve done something wrong or sit in the chairs on there phone. And this isn’t aimed at Admiral as a whole, this is specifically the Chesterfield branch, the Alfreton one is great and staff are very pleasant. I’ve also been in others around the country and they have also been fine. Also not aimed at the night time staff as they’re also pleasant. If you’re in chesterfield and want to play slots either go to Crown down the road or Merkur on the corner as there staff will actually say hello and offer you a drink!!!
Disappointed to say the least.Unfortunately I (thats me ) felt the service was poor, and the member off staffs response made me react and feel extremely disappointed, then a customer steps in and makes things worse...The fact I'm told by more than 1 staff that they are not allowed to get me change , to me speaks volumes when it's an amusement arcade/casino/agc 🤷♂️🤦♂️.I play up and down the country at Admirals and it's only this venue that has the problem getting change.I'm now told not to play in this venue anymore, whilst I apologise for the way I said what I said. I stand by what I said, and mabe , just maybe the should look into it further to why I reacted the way I did 🤔🤔.Fine line between aggressive and assertiveness I will say.Positives are still some nice staff and did love the older machines which are now dying out ,and also not available in cashino/merkur slots
I didn't go to this place so have NO idea why I'm sent a link to review it. So super weird!
It's a gaming machine arcade, not a casino. It's somewhere to go if you have excess money you don't require any longer.Free hot & cold drinks.Friendly staff. Will go & lose some more money again.
