Our stay was comfortable. This was my second stay at this hotel. The best part is its location which is right next to the beach and broad walk. Some part of the room was not wiped or cleaned. I can see the dust. The food we had was also good which is sometimes hard at a casino hotel.The self parking was easy and convenient. We got $5 voucher too.
Great spot for a quick getaway from New York! You can find some great deals at very reasonable prices. However, the smoke smell throughout the place is strong—you’ll likely end up sneezing quite a bit
Had a three day mini vacation at the Tropicana Casino in Atlantic City. We stayed in the North Tower in a large lovely twin queen bed room. There is a small fridge, coffee maker, iron, and bath amenities! Great shower and the beds are super comfortable!The casino is huge and has many machines and tables to pick from.PF Changs and Carmines are the two larger restaurants inside as well as Hash-a-go go, Hooters, Cuba Libre, and Starbucks and some other smaller food establishments.The Boardwalk is right outside and the beach! So many souvenir shops and candy stores. People watching is so much fun. There is a Jitney that runs the 5 mile Boardwalk for a fee! No cash! You have to buy tickets!The security staff is plentiful and all staff members are friendly and helpful.
I got a "free" room (I still had to pay tax and resort fee). I am not a gambler. If I win $40, I stop playing. If I lose the money I set aside to play, I stop. But I do like the indoor mall at the Tropicana it's very clean and plenty of things to do. I took my kid to the arcade. There are plenty of restaurants and a variety of stores. You can hours, all indoors, when the weather lends itself to it.We stayed on the 48th floor with beautiful views and thin air (lol), and the room was spotless. The elevators are so fast that you might need to hold on to your stomach. Warning: Avoid the checkout-rush at 11 am. The elevator stops on every single floor, and all four elevators get packed!
It's a great atmosphere and a lot of dinning choices and right on the boardwalk and beach. I can honestly say that the rooms are not the greatest, definitely could use and update and a deep cleaning. The house keeping did not replenish our towels or remake our bed while we were there for our stay.
