Boomtown Casino Biloxi, located in Biloxi, United States, presents itself as a more "blue-collared" and unpretentious casino option in the area. While it shines in certain aspects, particularly its gaming floor, several concerns emerge regarding its dining offerings and overall service.
The culinary experience at Boomtown Casino appears to be a major point of contention for many guests, particularly concerning the buffet.
While individual staff members on the gaming floor or specific servers (like Ashley) have been praised for their helpfulness and friendliness, the overall customer service experience at Boomtown can be inconsistent. Some visitors have encountered unfriendly staff from the door greeter onwards. Another recurring complaint is the casino's smoky atmosphere, which can be off-putting for non-smokers.
For those visiting with children, it's crucial to be aware of Boomtown's very strict policy: children, even if over 18, must remain with their guardian at all times, including trips to the restroom. On the amenity front, a minor but notable point is the absence of a gift shop, which some visitors wished for to purchase souvenirs.
Boomtown Casino Biloxi seems to cater well to those primarily interested in gambling with lower stakes and a friendly gaming environment. Its "unpretentious" vibe and reasonable table limits are definite draws. However, if dining is a significant part of your casino experience, especially the buffet, you might find it to be a disappointing and potentially costly endeavor. Inconsistent service outside the gaming floor and a smoky atmosphere are also points to consider.
For a casino experience focused on the tables and a more laid-back ambiance, Boomtown could be a good fit. For a complete entertainment package with high-quality dining and consistent service, visitors might need to manage their expectations or explore other options in Biloxi.
Let’s just say pass the buffet up, they should’ve just NEVER opened it back up. $50 per person for snow crabs that was cold & being served out of a storage container that was sitting in the floor. Talk about a health violation, absolutely NOTHING supposed to touch the floor EVER in a restaurant. I can only imagine what is going on behind those kitchen doors. The crawfish were cold & the potatoes, corn, & sausage were dried out because the pan obviously didn’t have water under it to keep the pan from drying the food out.I lost my appetite & couldn’t even eat. Cold seafood made me sick. The Chef that day even acknowledged that the crabs were cold & no good. They cooked more, but how can I eat after being nauseous the first time.People around us were using knives to saw the crabs open because they were not only cold, but over cooked.Crazy thing we met a couple that had the same complaint about the crabs & said they want be back either.Very disappointingDon’t waist your time or money eating here at all.The only good thing about the visit was the floor manager & the waitress.
I had crab legs peel and eat shrimp I didn't like the crawfish. The steak with grilled veggies was amazing with the au gratin potatoes and mashed potatoes and gravy. I didn't care for the banana pudding. But that bread pudding chocolate ice cream in a waffle cone and strawberry shortcake was delicious. What made this day extra special was Ashley my server. Poor guy at crab leg station needed some help. No plates buckets or crab legs when we walked up. But we didn't mind waiting. If you are coming with children please be advised they are very strict. You must stay with your child even if they're over 18 at all times. Even to the bathroom
Boomtown has the lowest table limits and good variety of games. Friendly dealers and pit bosses.I would say this is our favorite casino in Biloxi, it is the ‘blue-collared’ casino of the area.My only complaint is I wish they had a gift shop so I could buy a t-shirt here! Thanks guys!
This is not a place I would recommend. Very smoky and staff was unfriendly from the door greeter to the restaurants. We wanted to get something to eat so we sat at a bar in the casino called Pho Boy Asian Fusion. No help was at bar then some women who works there came behind grabbed a beer then left. We sat there for 10 minutes or more with 4 staff members about 5 feet from us, not one person said anything. Finally my husband said is there a bartender? They said no you have to come to this stand ( 5 feet away ) and order. REALLY?! We sat right in front of them and no one said a word till we asked! We just got up and left, which was probably a good thing and saved us from food poisoning. Don’t waste your time.
Nice casino. Unpretentious. Clean. Payout ratio seems fair. I won and lost and won on slots and roulette as well. I do not like the fact that computers have reduced jobs, but that's the world we live in.Drinks come fairly regularly as long as you are playing. Mixed drinks are weak, so I stick with beer. We didn't try any food, but it looked good.We will be back for sure!ENJOY THE VIDEO of the Huff and Puff 3 Little Pigs slot. It was a lot of fun and made us laugh.
