Rivers Casino Des Plaines is generally considered a "good spot for a night out" and a "decent spot for gaming." It offers a lively and cozy atmosphere with a vast selection of gaming options, excellent dining choices, and a friendly staff. While minor issues like machine cleanliness and occasional crowding exist, these do not significantly detract from the overall fun and engaging experience. Many visitors express a strong intent to return, reinforcing its reputation as a solid entertainment destination in the Chicago area.
First time here, and I had a fun time. The place is pretty big and has been updated and remodeled. We came around 4 pm and there was parking readily available. All entrances check your ID before entering unless you get profiled, lol My parents were not checked for ID so I guess if you look "old enough" they just let you in, just thought that was funny. Great restaurants in here and reasonably priced as well as "fancier" places and, of course, a Starbucks. Restrooms were surprisingly clean as well. I do wish the machines were wiped clean better as some of the areas we played at were sticky of had some gunk on the button it was gross. But overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back.
Had a fun night at Rivers Casino. Clean place, good mix of games, and the staff was friendly. Didn’t win big, but the vibe was solid. Food and drinks were decent, and service was quick. Only downside—smoke from the smoking area drifted a bit. Overall, a good spot for a night out.
Rivers Casino in Des Plaines is a decent spot for gaming, but it has its drawbacks. The casino itself is clean and well-maintained, with a good selection of slots and table games. However, the outside area had a strong smell of marijuana, which took away from the experience before even stepping inside. While the atmosphere inside is lively and the staff is generally friendly, the casino can feel crowded, and finding an open table can be a challenge. It’s an okay option if you’re looking for a night out, but there are definitely areas that could be improved.
I’d recommend no one to actually go there because it’s a casino after all, so you will lose money no matter what. However, for a casino this one is pretty cool. It is really big, it has a nice bar and a few fast-food restaurants as well.
Was at their venue to see a show. All seats were great and acoustics were excellent.
