WarHorse Casino Omaha

WarHorse Casino Omaha, located in Council Bluffs, Nebraska, offers a fresh and modern casino experience that has largely received positive feedback from recent visitors. As a casino, it stands out for its commitment to a smoke-free environment and a generally pleasant atmosphere, making it a popular choice for an enjoyable outing.

Ambiance and Service ✨

A consistent theme across reviews is the casino's impeccably clean and modern interior. Visitors frequently highlight the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, noting that everyone from security personnel to cashiers and waitresses was described as "pleasant and polite." The casino's smoke-free policy is a significant draw for many, allowing guests to enjoy their time without the typical casino odor, a feature highly appreciated by reviewers.

Gaming Experience 🎰

WarHorse Casino provides a variety of gaming options, including virtual games and a roulette slot, offering a contemporary approach to casino entertainment. While some visitors have observed that "big wins" or jackpots might seem less frequent compared to casinos in neighboring Iowa, the opportunity to win is certainly present, and most guests report enjoying their time on the machines. Complimentary soda and coffee are also available to enhance the gaming experience.

Dining Options at WarHorse Casino 🍔☕

The casino houses three distinct eateries, providing diverse culinary choices for guests. One particular restaurant within the casino has been highly praised for its "great" atmosphere and service. Reviewers specifically recommended the brisket burger 🔥🔥 and brisket chili 🔥🔥, describing the food as delicious and the pricing as "decent." Special requests, such as cucumber water, have also been accommodated.

Another dining option mentioned is the Nebraska Ale Haus. While the service at the Ale Haus was consistently lauded as "great," some patrons found the food to be "ok" and "a little pricey for the quantity/quality" when compared to their expectations for casino dining.

Additional Features & Practicalities 🏁

Beyond the gaming floor and dining, WarHorse Casino offers a unique feature: a view of a race track. This element adds another dimension to the entertainment experience, with at least one reviewer eager to return for the racing aspect.

One minor point of constructive feedback revolved around the bathroom facilities. While not a significant distance for able-bodied individuals, their location outside the immediate restaurant area was noted as potentially inconvenient for disabled guests or those with young children. Additionally, a reviewer pointed out the absence of hooks inside stalls for hanging personal items like purses or coats.

Overall Summary

WarHorse Casino Omaha successfully delivers a welcoming, clean, and enjoyable casino experience, particularly appealing to those who prioritize a smoke-free environment. With its friendly and polite staff, modern gaming options, and a selection of dining choices—including highly recommended brisket dishes—it serves as a strong contender for a fun night out in Council Bluffs. Despite some varied perceptions regarding "big wins" and minor notes on bathroom accessibility, the overall positive atmosphere, complimentary beverages, and the unique addition of a race track view make WarHorse Casino a worthwhile destination.

My first time at WarHorse Casino was a week ago. They have three eateries in the Casino this is the one I and a friend ate at. Atmosphere and service was great! I'm glad we went at a time it wasn't packed to the walls for my pictures sake lol food was delicious 😋 I highly recommend the brisket burger 🔥 🔥 and brisket chili 🔥 🔥They accommodated me with my cucumber water request ❤️ as you can see pricing was decent too...I'm telling you..you CANNOT go wrong eating here!! If I have to knick pick it'll be the bathroom situation out side of the restaurant and down the way, not far for an able bodied adult. I do wonder about the disabled and and young children who had to go really bad. Also no hooks to hang purses or coats in the stalls. Oh and I know ya'll wondering about the picture looking out the window is of the race track..yep I said race track!! Will definitely go back for that experience!!

Had so much fun at this place, the table games are just like back home and the Sweetwater grill has the most amazing food. I highly recommend the macaroni and cheese 🤤Being from Vegas, it was really a delight to see this little slice of traditional Casino Culture right here in the heartland of Omaha. Definitely take some time to check this place out if you're in the neighborhood, and be sure to grab a bite to eat from this amazing grill that's open 24/7 🤯*Update*This new expansion really makes it feel even more like home 😎The Ale Haus and Trifecta are probably the best food in the neighborhood 🤤

We came, we saw I lost, and won a little. We ate at the Nebraska Ale Haus. It was ok little pricey for the quantity/quality. We are used to the casinos costing more but expect the food to be worth it and we didn't feel it was. The service was great though.

We like randomly stopping in there since we can leave without smelling like we were in a smokers lung. However, I don't think I've ever seen or even heard about anyone winning a jackpot while it is fairly common at the Iowa casinos. You can obviously win, but it seems much less likely to be "big wins"
