Not the best resort by any means, but for the price, it was well worth it, and I would stay again.Food wise has some of the better prices compared to other resorts. I stayed at Circus Circus Hotel in Las Vegas. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean enough, but when I turned on the air conditioning, I could smell dust.The lobby downstairs is big and nice. There are many shops, bars, restaurants, and of course, a large casino. One of the best things was the live acrobatic shows – they were really fun to watch.Overall, it was an okay stay, but the hotel could use some renovation.
At this point if I could leave negative stars I would. Everything is completely different then what was shown online. We arrived and the last of customer service is disrespectful of the hospitality industry. While I understand that we are move further into the tech world, arriving and having to figure everything out ourselves by kiosk is not it, nor what I expect when arriving to a hotel. Then the lady who helped me treated me like an idiot when the kiosk wasn't working and felt like pulling teeth to get some assistance. Then once arriving to the room it felt like being Nicole and dimed. It has become pretty standard to expect a mini fridge in room these days but they want 25 extra per night to have one. And then the bathroom has a leaking tub spout, dirty tiles, and hair in the bathroom. Also they hotel is under construction, which is not stated on the website or during booking. Even if it's not the tower we are in it still impacts the customer experience in other ways. If we would have known in advance we would have chosen a different place to stay.Stayed here previously and the layout what frustrating but this is just another level. After this visit we will not return.Yes, they did offer to move our room but my son and husband were already asleep because we got in late.
My family has stayed here a few times now. The first time I had been here was in the early 1990s so this place brings back good memories. The room is nice and clean. The Midway games and shows are so amazing and make this place worth it. The Adventuredome is a blast. Staff are nice. This place is an overall fun resort especially for families.
My self check in didn't work, so a nice old lady who might have been Native American helped me quickly with an old DOS program. My room was impressive. The 15th floor hallway carpet looks tired. One elevator was closed behind a fold out danger sign. When I left my room, there was an average looking female in the hallway walking towards me. She changed direction and looked back to see if I was following. A man who seemed to be with her was ready to hold the elevator door. No, I didn't get in with them. There were other working elevators. The hallway smells of smoke, and it isn't a great neighborhood. But it was $100 cheaper than the Best Western in Pahrump. Parking must have been elaborate at some point, but self-serve now. If you aren't bothered by these issues, good value for the money.
